Ya'll should be thanking the university for carrying your business. Students will buy anything from anyone without complaint. The reality is this place is horrific. Between the trashy looking people who work there and the abhorrent sanitation issues, this location should be condemned. You're lucky if the staff even looks at you when you get there. One person will be on their phone and the other will be pretending to bag something. They don't help delivery drivers (and worse - their system abbreviates customer names) and even have the drivers make the fountain drinks. What delivery driver has clean hands? Especially if they work for DDash? I will supply photo evidence of the constant state of their soda fountain and the surrounding counters.I witnessed one order go out with a driver that said, "out of fries" on the receipt. What?? How?? There's another Wendy's in town that you can borrow from! I'm a restaurant manager - this is completely unacceptable! Why didn't they at least contact this person to give them something else? This town needs to stop settling for the worst.

They have the absolute worst workers running this place.. the same stuck up young guy constantly trying to impress his female co-worker/ fry cook girlfriend are so dismissive and disrespectful. I saw this joker.. the thin white guy with dark hair who wears a striped shirt all the time, biting off bits of frozen fries and then picking them out of his mouth and throwing them into the fryer from 10 feet away like he was playing basketball..clearly doing it in a rebellious manner as a way to “get back at the system.” I understand that people are not thrilled at work, but show a little bit of decency..if you loathe your job that much, go get another job! Very sad because the location is in a great, convenient spot for college students and staff.. unfortunately you have the laziest and most pitiful employees working the front of house. Management has to step up and do something. The whole place is always dirty, tables uncleaned, the soda machine is out of COKE..if you ask for a burger without certain toppings, they will give it to you with all the standard toppings still on it as they are too lazy to make another one..very poorly run establishment.. owner/management needs to take responsibility and observe what is occurring at their business compared to letting some 25 year old knuckleheads run it into the ground. Nobody cares about anything anymore. Every standard has been run into the ground. Owner/management is just as much at fault for not monitoring their business and expecting it to print money for them. Skip the fast food and make your own food at home people. It’s not even worth the convenience... eating here is more like an inconvenience.

They wouldn't honor my coupon because they "don't know how to do it". When I asked for a manager, they said she was busy. So I left without getting food.

I ordered a breakfast burrito on the app. I go into the store and was not greeted or even acknowledged at all. The cashier, a tall girls with green hair was on her air pods having a phone conversation with me. She took her time to get my burrito, put it in a sac and dropped it down. I looked in the bag and asked for hot sauce. She rolled her eyes and got some, dropping it in the bag and dropping it on the counter. All the time never speaking to me, just carrying on her phone call. She was saying something on the phone about having complaints about her. The burrito was not good either. That plus my previous experience here where the English muffin was not toasted at all, means I will not be returning to this Wendy's. I predict it will close down in the not too distant future. Even Sheetz has better service.

Food is good, but it's an absolute pain to order from. Wendy's as a whole, but this location in particular, is doing their absolute best to push you to use the app, and it's just a buggy mess. They also uh, don't take cash. So there's that.

Place isn't very staffed only 3 people working. I watched a lady come in and stand at counter for 10 minutes before I'm guessing the manager is the one who decided to notify her after 10 minutes. Oh and the JBC didn't come with bacon. Don't come here if you plan on paying cash.

Visited the Wendy's location on University Drive in State College on 12/5/23. Four senior citizens (ages 73-77). Got an immediate negative feeling when one could not order from a person without paying cash. All orders using a card must be thru the kiosk. The worker, Mary, was extremely nasty. Short, snappy answer to any questions. Ordered food was placed in a paper sack with one napkin per patron. When we asked for additional napkins we were told it was store policy that only one napkin per order. Mary stated it wasn't her policy, it was the manager's policy and she was not allowed to make exceptions. She did give us ONE more napkin, not one more apiece. One more for all four of us to use. I asked for the manager's name and she stated the manager would not be in until tomorrow. After getting a little loud, Mary gave me the manger's name (Sara). I asked for her number and she kept repeating it was corporate policy and she could not give us more napkins. I told her to shut the hell up and give me Sara's phone number. At that she walked away. Since there were no straws for self service I asked for a straw. Another worker signaled me to hold on but did not provide any straws. Finally, after hollering at Mary, who had retreated to the back of the store, Mary brought me one straw. I asked again for Sara's number and Mary kept barking orders of what I had to do. Had to look up the store number. Had to call Sara tomorrow morning. I told her she was not my boss and I was not going to be ordered around by her. Our little table was a mess from leaking burgers, overfilled shake container and crumbs and no napkins to wipe anything up. Later a young male employer came over and gave me Sara's number. I called Sara. When I asked about the policy of limiting napkins she said it was corporate policy. Sara claimed she could do nothing about it. When I raised my voice and asked who in hell would ever make a policy like that she said if I was going to shout at her she would hang up. I suggested if she was a manager and couldn't take the heat of dealing with dissatisfied customers perhaps she should get a job at a day care center watching babies. She countered that if I needed more than one napkin I must be a baby. She than stated that "this conversation is over" and hung up. For the $50 we spent we could have had a much nicer meal and atmosphere by dining at the Olive Garden, which we will do in the future. NO MORE WENDY'S for us.

They waste delivery drives time and money by not having the order ready upon drivers arriving. They stand around until people actually walk In instead of doing what needs done. This is just unacceptable. Don't do food delivery services if you cannot have the orders ready by the time delivery drivers arrive to get order. Just that simple.

I ordered chili cheese fries at this location and it was amazing. Actually the chili cheese fries has child not like the N. Atherton location here in State College, PA. The service was great and friendly and the food was great.

This is the superior Wendy's in town. The one on North Atherton always has insane lines and they have literally never gotten our order right. At the one on North Atherton In only eat in because of the amount of times they have messed up the order. It's literally every time. Meanwhile this place got our order right, the food was hot, fresh, and tasty. They were pleasant, customer focused, and kind. I will absolutely be going here from now. Also the touch screen kiosks are a great touch. Folks can order at the counter if they want, but I love to take my time so the touch screens were awesome. It allowed me to not hold folks up but still explore the menu. This is my new "go to" for a fast food burger in town.

This established is run by a pack of clowns. Crew using outdoor voices with no concern about what they're saying. It's so close to my workplace that I've been there many times. Every experience is like watching a circus. Amazing they remain in business.
