Tommy's in Tamaqua does serve some of the Freshest and Delicious Subs/Hoagies in the area. Personally, my go to Hoagies are their Regular & Tuna Fish. Their Cheesesteaks are also Delicious . Their secret, in my opinion, is in the Homemade Hoagie Rolls which are made Fresh Daily.The service is wonderful, Jen, Sam, Sharon, Tina and several other crew members go to great lengths to cook and provide the best quality food and service to their customers!!!Two specials are always a crowd pleaser. Tuesdays it's buy 1 Hoagie at Regular price get another for half price. Fridays special is a Baked Haddock Platter w/ mac-n- cheese & stewed tomatoes! Good hoagies but absolutely the rudest, worst customer services I’ve ever seen. Got charged something different every time I was there for the extra same order every time. When I finally pointed it out I got 2 old battle axes behind the counter attacking me just like I’ve seen them do to multiple customers. I won’t ever go in there again till they are gone and highly recommend no else does either.

Got a chicken parm hoagie and a Stromboli hoagie and the chicken tasted like it has been frozen for years and has like no sauce on it and the Stromboli was just straight nasty, the cheese looked and tasted like rubber. Don’t recommend at ALL!

Chicken Cheesteak, Italian Sub. They have a niche with the bread rolls, very good flavor. You have to tell them 3x about extra mayo or ketchup and they still don't listen. Sometimes you are working and don't have access to extra condiments.

Got a large turkey hoagie. When I opened to eat it there was literally 6 slices of turkey on it. Asked for extra mayo and got hardly anything. Won't be going back no time soon. And price is definitely not worth it at $11

I live in Allentown 15 yrs but been all over the place thru areas due to trucking as my job....I've passed this place for yrs have pictures with my kids cross street at train station....I finally stopped in as I always wanted toy in 2023 I hate stopping in truck for things but sometimes I have to and here is kinda hard to lololol but I made it my business to today due to visiting in next area....I am so glad I stopped the service wis cool and kind the place is clean the people are nice and the sandwich is good too will save half for later I definitely will stop again soon or few days but I am thankful for the time I had to come thru...Always good to find nice places to eat in other areas than Allentown event hough I am from NY....thanks again and very much appreciated
