waited for about 30 min after we ordered. they were out of so many flavors, one of the ladies said they had the flavor but it was too hard to scoop so we had to pick a different one (???) staff ignored me when I was trying to remind them about my order, its a shame because the ice cream is good. seems like they started hiring people with early onset dementia

Took 20 minutes to get our 3 person order. It wasn't busy and the staff rolled their eyes at us when we finally knocked on the window. Go to dairy queen or something.
Nice staff, cute setting. It's especially nice that they have ample seating and a great little playground that's fenced in. The ice cream was fantastic

My family absolutely loves this place for its vintage flare and all-American feel. The cheesesteaks, burgers, and fries are all incredibly delicious and well priced for the large portion sizes. Egg creams are the best I’ve had in the area and the pumpkin ice cream is a very tasty seasonal treat. My young nephew also loves the playground and it’s totally a special feature of this place that we so appreciate.

We were very very pleased with the girl who served us last night! She was by herself doing everything so perfectly! She definitely knows what she’s doing, and definitely should be commended for it? The Sundays were out of this world & bigger than any custard stand we’ve ever been to!

I should have went to big star!!Ordered a curro sundae..it's 8$. Girl said it would take a little bit. I assume its bc they need to make the curro. Sure, No problem...we continue to wait. My husband ate almost his entire waffle cone ice cream and we still didn't have my sundae. Stand at the window..it is only until then, the girl remembers to make the sundae. She finally gives me the Sundae, and was rude saying enjoy (I'm assuming she was rude bc we were standing waiting and she didnt like that) and it wasn't even the ice cream flavor I ordered! Seriously? She could have said I'm so sorry what kind of ice cream did you want? Instead of guessing at which one I wanted. 18$ for ice cream, AND gave a tip. Way to go!!
