Great food and great place to celebrate a friend’s 50th birthday! A little on the small side and locals can get a little touchy when big parties take over tables, but it’s understandable. The food is amazing! The bar staff are friendly, and I love the Irish charm of the place! The Bloody Mary and the stout are a sure winner!
Great place to experience the authentic Philly culture and community without feeling like a tourist… yes everyone will know everyone else but you, but a very welcoming group with employees and patrons.

If you get an opportunity, you must give Monahans a chance. My favorite cheesesteaks, even a chicken cheesesteak with fried onions, sweet peppers, and bacon, it will have you talking to it, lol.
