“The food is always delcious here. Since we came toward the end of the brunch, some of the food was cold. Which is to be expected. However, a lot of the dishes were amazing. I really suggest the Texas Chili and the Salmon. It is definitely worth the price since they use quality ingredients. There is so much selection for the Brunch Buffet on Saturday. They have really good desserts as well. I highly suggest going for brunch.“

“It has taken me over 12 years to finally walk in this space, thanks to some friends. Parking lot is deceivingly larger than anticipated. Scored a spot right in front. The space inside is on the smaller side, so anticipate a wait if you don't show up before 9am. Service very friendly and they are quick to serve you. Their coffee was solid. They have a nice tea selection, so be sure to ask what they have or they will serve you up something more pedestrian. A few specials always posted on the board. I had their homemade hash omelet and it was cooked perfectly. Not too brown and cooked throughout. Their toast is LeBus (sp?), so it was 2 pieces of very thick rye bread. I absolutely loved it. Their breakfast potatoes are very small nuggets with no onions. A bit boring if I'm being honest, but mixed well with the eggs and ketchup for me. I will look forward to trying more menu items in the near future. Hidden gem.“

“I was walking down conshy and I saw this cafe I never been to and decided to went in. The atmosphere was super cute and the owner is very sweet and recommended the brown sugar boba for me. They had tons of pastry and I couldn’t help but to get a few and try their avocado toast! Everything was delicious and definitely coming back. “

“I stumbled upon this coffee shop after a yoga class at Nectar Yoga Studio (which is in the same building). The barista and other workers were lovely. I don't regularly drink coffee so I ordered a strawberry chamomile kombucha and a GF chocolate/almond cookie. The kombucha is made locally (Baba's brew) and is one of my favorites. I loved that my drink was served in a glass rather than plastic! The cookie was delicious and one of the workers immediately cleared away my plate when I was finished. I'll definitely be back again! “10/10!! Today was the first time my husband and I visited Merenda. The first impression was the authenticity of everything from the coffee to the pastries and decor. We ordered the waffle sandwich and several pastries plus coffee. Everything was amazing. The stand out feature of this hidden gem is the beautiful spirit of those working behind the counter. “Newly open for dinner, they were slow on a Saturday night but we had a great family meal! Everyone was kind, the burgers and grilled cheese were surprisingly excellent. It's a kitschy setting (it is a cat cafe after all!) and my kids loved visiting the kittens, who were caged in the front entry room/gift shop. I got a key lime pie to go that was excellent. It's a fun choice for something casual, fun and different - we'll be back!“

Once the lady in front of me was done ordering, I stepped to the pos terminal and my order was taken by a very sweet and engaging young woman. Even gave me some unsolicited compliments, which, of course, translated to a nice tip. Flattery will get you everywhere.Ordered an iced coffee and ham & egg on a bagel. Didn’t take long for my order to be ready, but in the meantime they had some artsy candles and stuff that I perused and impulse bought a candle that said “well mom you screwed a lot stuff up but at least you didn’t have ugly children” for Mother’s Day. My mom passed decades ago but whatever . . .Anyway, got the food, and ate it in my car as I drove off. The coffee and food were really good, and the service really really nice. I’ll be back. This location is inside the KOP mall for that midday retail therapy and the food court for some food that the cafe may not carry. I was very happy with my order, I ordered vanilla, chocolate and funfetti cakes pops. They were decorated with the exact colors I asked for, each one wrapped individually and tied with ribbon. “My coffee spot deserves 5 stars because it's a mission centered business. It's associated with Camphill Village, and is therefore inclusive in its hiring of staff, has a vegetarian menu, and sources locally. The baristas are friendly and make an effort to get to know you if you are a regular. Yes, it may take a while for a latte if it's busy and they have to follow food safety standards when heating up breakfast sandwiches (which takes time and they let you know when you order). I am ok with that because the money you spend here is staying locally and supporting a non-profit.“

“Very happy to try some excellent pastries and bakes but then not all their baked good are great as I found out yesterday- This is the second time we’re going to this place.we got a bunch of stuff n this time tried the twisted doughnut and strawberry cream filled cloud bread - all the other pastries we got was excellent - spinach cheese croque monsieur , garlic croissant, chocolate cream filled doughnut n strawberry lemonade; we got it all to-go n reaching home we found very oily stale old twisted doughnut n one bite, we had to trash it … then the cloud bread - I don’t understand how bread can get oily?? Well, the cream tasted off n the bread oil oozing with one bite .. that too we had to trash. So though I do recommend this place for v good pastries I find you’ll find some stale unsold items mixed in with the fresh baked goodies. Very nice ambience n Customer service was good.“
