Desserts are always fun, never had a bad one. Staff is great. Typically very busy, but always pleasant.Vegetarian options: Depending on how strict vegetarian you are, they do accommodate adjusting selections to minimize meat exposure. Such as leaving the bacon off the wedge salad. Would not suggest for vegans.“

“New Fern was excellent. The fried haddock was perfect. My wife had the seafood broil. Their Mac and cheese side is creamy, cheesy, deliciousness. Everything was outstanding. We were accepted on a Friday night without a reservation, but I do not recommend that on weekends. Call ahead to reserve a table. They filled up quickly after we were seated, and I overheard others without reservations being turned away, politely. I am so grateful they fit us in on such a busy night. The staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about their offerings. We will be going back soon to try some other entries that sounded great. We did not have dessert but saw a bunch go by us. Omg! The slices of cake are huge, and I could smell the lovely aroma as they went by. I think one was an espresso cake. Man, did it smell good! This was unexpected for Muncy PA. This small town really has some good places to eat. New Fern is now in my top 2 in town.“
