“I luv the patrons and the staff i use to work here its never really packed but it can get a nice crowd so it is a nice place to relax and hangout with old friends and even make some new ones. And no smoking on the one side isnt so bad .. They have a pool table and multiple dart boards as well.Chris's Pizza shop is less then a half a block away .“
“Rudy's is a very laid back tavern with a very welcoming environment. The staff is great (90% of the time ?), the patrons are usually very respectful, and the atmosphere is always light for the most part. DJ for the weekends and every Tuesday night it's karaoke night and it gets pretty hyped up in there and there's always a few really talented guys that come through and bless the mic?. I highly recommend it. An all around good time.“
“So I had such a great time at this place it was super fun. The atmosphere was full of laughter, the drinks were super affordable and the bartender even gave my sis and I complimentary drinks. It was very diverse which I loved everyone was just having a good time, it was a night of complete fun. Also the Assman license plate is priceless I love Seinfeld“
“So many watering holes in this area. Oscar's feels like the only campfire. I spent 2 days in Center City and came here both days. D was my bartender and welcomed me, remembered my name and my drink. Locals were beyond friendly. On a solo work trip when I felt alone without my family, I truly felt at home at Oscar's. Can't recommend bellying up and shooting the sh*t more. Love Oscar's.“
“Not a Chiefs fan but stopped into this corner bar and had such a great experience! The owner, bartender and the locals were so nice! Was given a free burger because I was hungry and was backed up with a free beer from a local. I am so thankful for stopping in! ❤️“
“Step into the past this far has been around forever women used to enter from the back the roast beef phenomenal don't forget to get the gravy fries the bartenders are great it's just a great feeling inside here been coming here most of my life“
“I really enjoyed my visit here! I went on a date with a guy and we both really enjoyed our food, service and the atmosphere of this little bar. I got a vodka soda and a hot honey chicken sandwich and it was to die for. Topped with pickled onions, I was in heaven!!? I’ll definitely be back. Thanks Manoa Tavern! “
“I'm from California, went for a Phillies game a few years ago...Awesome place to grab drinks before, and after a game. Wonderful hospitality, cheap drinks, great crowd. Bartender was awesome, and everyone was so welcome. Local corner spot that I will make sure to go to every time I go to Philadelphia moving forward.“
“I been going to Mickey's for over 30 years. I took my Sean to the dentist across the street. So I wandered in and all the friends I made back in the day were there and remembered me. The bartender remembered the day my wife Patrice died, I held her in my arms til her last breath. Her will to live was so powerful that she pulled the whole oxygen tent into her mouth. When she finally let it out that was it.I told everyone that I was staying. Eventually people stated to leave but I wouldn't let go of my precious girlI couldn't accept it. Our Heather finally had to leaveI stayed and held her until she lost all her color and turned to ice. I realized she was gone. And I finally could stop cuddling her like she loved.I walked out of that hospital in a trance. I drove down to Mickey's and walked in but I couldn't talk. The guys knew something was wrong. They were giving me space . I got a vodka and went to the front door to just gaze at the sky. The bartender came over and asked if I was alright. Stood in the doorway with me.Almost instantly the sky opened up and the fiercest hail storm We ever seen just came outta nowhere and everyone was in awe, gaping at the intensity and I turned around and said Patrice just died and these are the tears of heaven ? ?They were stunned, they all loved her!!Anyone that knew her loved her. You could not help it. I was the luckiest man in the world ⚘️ and suddenly she was gone. Beem 15 years and I still grieve.I cry every time I have to talk about her.ICry when I think about her. So today in Mickey's I was overwhelmed with emotions when they welcomed me and remembered that Hailstorm . I cried uncontrollable. I am just trying to get this out my friends. Sometimes it helps“
