“I really enjoyed the food here. The portions are more than enough. My only complaint was the service. My server could have paid more attention to the things the customer may need. I had to ask for napkins, straws, jelly for toast, and a Togo container after she only brought one when there were obviously two of us eating, and I had more food left than the other guest.“
“I did not take any pictures but this place was perfect for a quick pick me up! It's the perfect diner food that you need on a Saturday or Sunday morning after a late night! The woman who took my order was extremely kind and the food was served quickly!“
“Prior to going, I read the menu and lit up like a Christmas tree when I saw that they had Lobster Ravioli. When our pleasant server came over, I excitedly ordered the lobster ravioli, only to be told that it was no longer on the menu. The heartbreak...it was a culinary Greek tragedy in the making. However, our server suggested the Seafood pasta (crab, lobster, shrimp) in a vodka sauce. I was intrigued so I tried it. OH MY GOODNESS! I almost cried it was sooooo good. The pasta was al dente, the sauce was flavorful and rich, and there was an abundance of seafood. I had enough for lunch and dinner the next day. That pasta dish, coupled with the Empress Lemonade, was an absolute treat!“
“Whatever you do, if you go here for brunch you must get the biscuit board. The honey butter + the crispy/fluffy biscuits that do not fall apart like every other biscuit I've ever had was the most delightful appetizer I've had for breakfast. Espresso martini was average at best, would recommend just a regular coffee instead of a breakfast cocktail.“
“Andrew welcomed us in and we were the only Ones in the restaurant on a Friday morning. He helped us parse through the menu and pick some items. We ordered the kidney beans and cassava leaf via his recommendation and both plates came with a generous platter of rice. It was enough for four people to get full our total bill was less than 30, I really great experience an amazing food. Next time I want to come back and try the fufu soho.“
