Shere-e-Punjab is simply - Excellent Indian Cuisine. The food is delicious, with a wide range of veg and meat dishes on rice and naan, and the curries can be calibrated to your precise spiciness level (mine is 4 out of 5). All dishes are also available for pickup, which works great for me. Also, on really lucky nights you may hear a live band playing there. One of the real highlights of Media, definitely check it out!

We have been going to Shere-E-Punjab for several years. To say it is our favorite Indian restaurant wouldn't quite be accurate - it has become our only Indian restaurant. We live in West Philadelphia, and Shere-E-Punjab is better than any we have tried on the Main Line or Philly. We normally get Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Saag, one of the Pakora apps and Garlic Naan. Always amazing. We've tried other dishes, Lamb Vindaloo, Palak Paneer, and others, we have never been disappointed. Tonight, we decided to stray and ordered the Chilly Chicken, Rogan Josh, Bhindi Masala Lamb Saag and, of course, garlic naane. Everything was EXCEPTIONAL!!! The service is always terrific, whether we dine in or order take out. Shere-E-punjab is the real deal!!!!

Ordered take-out recently from their Drexel Hill location. They do quick orders by phone, by their website or by Grubhub. We tried some usual favorites: Bread Basket, with garlic naan, paneer kulcha, onion kulcha and pashwari naan (sweet). Still eating this a few days later. Chicken Saag - Chicken pieces in creamy spinach. Delicious, we had it mild. Palak paneer - Cheese cubes in creamy spinach. Also ordered mild. Service was quick and they called me when ready to pick up. No dine in service yet, just take-out. Convenient to PNC Bank if you're looking for it in Drexeline Shopping Center.

The good: really delicious food, perfect spice level, well seasoned rice. We had the Murg Madras and Lamb dish. Warm and fresh tasting.The bad: delivery service was not the best - no utensils, mango lassi was not in a cup, rice was put into one shared contained.
The food and service is amazing! Thank you for being our "go-to" during COVID. Your food is amazing and I find myself craving the Murg Madras.

I take advantage of this place when I’m in Pa, wish there was a place like this in Jersey. Every dish I’ve ordered has always been amazing and hits exactly what I’m craving. The samosas are so good, I always order a bunch. Delivery is always on time. A little on the pricey side, but worth it!!!!

And very much worth the cost, in both quality and generous portions. And the staff really seems to take their food and service seriously.
