“My family and I ate at this amazing restaurant! We happened to be in the area and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. We were greeted nicely, the service was good and the food was delicious! We even met Richard who took the time to graciously explain the history and origin of the restaurant/ menu. The atmosphere was inviting and rich with culture. I would totally recommend Samarkand! “The only thing that NEEDS to be said is the food here is outstanding. This is a fine dining type place but we found it on a whim and showed up in shorts and tshirts and were warmly welcomed and felt just fine. Few places put out food of this caliber…the quality and care is evident in every bite. Nothing in life is perfect but there wasn’t even the slightest miss in any dish we had. The geek in me loves hearing the stories about dishes and ingredients and learning more about Peruvian cuisine. We are on Sunday and it’s now Tuesday and I’ve been thinking about Geronimo’s ever since. I’ve have never had Chifa style cuisine that has impressed me in any way and their Lomo Saltado takes a basic quirky stir fry and somehow makes it a sublime experience. My son had the fried Aesop’s special and we were floored at how perfectly fried it was. Not at all greasy or heavy and the calamari and sea bass was tender and juicy. Short rib was butter tender and huge. I could obviously gush on and on but just go….the service was equally as phenomenal. Oh and the canchitas were awesome little snack and the Mebrillo compound butter they served with the bread was crazy good. Can’t. Wait. To. Go. Back.“

“This place has the best vegan food that doesn't taste like traditional “vegan food”. It also has non-vegan options, so it is great for bringing non-vegan friends/family. They also have a wide variety of alcohol in case you enjoy that stuff. They also have a huge selection of pizzas, even including vegan ones! You can even sub vegan cheese on any one of the regular pizzas. I had a sandwich that was made of pizza crust, and ive never had anything like it before! 10/10 will be returning.“

“Tried a variety of sushi including spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, salmon, and a fancy Dragon Roll. Also tried Drunken Noodle. All were amazing. Calamari was overcooked so I would avoid that and stick to their sushi and noodle specialities. Best sushi in the area. Great place to dine in or take out.“

“First things first: this is located inside the Whole Foods. I had the double PLNT burger and it was very good. My only complaint was probably a little too much "cheese" The fries were excellent. I got the large and it was an enormous serving. They are really good. As mentioned, it's a counterspace inside the Whole Foods grocery store so there isn't much as far as ambience, but the service was friendly and fairly fast. Next time I'm in the area. I will probably stop back.“

“The homemade food here is delicious, there are always a lot of people, I didn’t like one thing - I ordered 2 pieces of cake with me, the seller counted it, went to cut my cake into a container, I saw that it was big and said, excuse me, can I have one piece, she cut two, I I gave one to the other and took it to the shelf and I paid for two pieces, I didn’t like it, I wasn’t pleased, since I don’t speak English well, I couldn’t tell her or explain anything! Yes, it’s not a lot of money, well, you can’t do that ? like this sales girl! I didn’t deduct the second piece of cake from the payment! My husband and I were here, I ordered soup, a vegetarian burrito and 2 salads with tuna, well, they brought one salad and I paid for two salads, so I didn’t wait for my portion of salad, I ate the burrito ? and we left..“

I and several others ordered the avocado BLT which came with a small side salad. It was made fresh and was absolutely delicious. Others had the crab cake which was a generous portion and delicious as well. The deserts are presented in a small glass. We ordered peanut butter cake and key lime cake.
