Haven't been by in 2 years. Their pozole was amazing. Must have changed owners, cooks or something because the chicken soup (they don't have pozole anymore) was not just bad, it was disgusting. If you dine in, be prepared to freeze your assets.

Lovely people, great food. Don't expect fine dining, but the food is good and authentic! I've eaten here three times the past week. Shrimp tacos loaded with big shrimp for only $3.50 each! Hell ya. By the way, the name gas changed to "Restaurant Juanita." She is from Guatemala, lived in Mexico. Makes both of those countries dishes.

Discovered this gem of a restaurant after a trip to Tanger outlets and ordered two burrito supremes, quesadillas, and tacos with barbacoa. Thought the taste was excellent and especially enjoyed the freedom of the toppings bar and the freshness of the house made salsas. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, and the owner cooked our food personally. Thought the food was also exceptionally good when compared to cuisine we have tried in Southern California - on par with the same sort of excellent authentic cooking and also extremely affordable for such extremely generous portions. The decor is also warm and inviting, featuring plates and handicrafts from Mexico. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking exceptionally delicious and reasonable home-style Mexican food in the area.

I have been visiting family the past 5 years from Texas and I have never been able to find actually good Mexican food. And then I came across this place. HANDS DOWN THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD!!!!! The staff is super friendly. The food is AMAZING. Doesn't get any better than this. Trust me!!!!!!

I tell everybody to go here. If you even like Mexican food, you will love it once you have tried Los Amigos. The place is clean, the food is excellent, the salsa bar is generous, and the prices are very reasonable. I recommend the green enchiladas. Go between 11 am. and 1 pm. for their lunch specials. You won't regret it.
