The Carvery

Took grandma to the casino and stopped at The Carvery for Sunday brunch. Ordered the “make your own omelette” - very good. Ordered the Belgium waffle - also very good. Ordered the “deep fried hot dog Bloody Mary”... If you like hot dogs and bloody Marys, you will most likely enjoy this. The best thing about the Carvery is the crepes. The food is okay and there aren't a ton of options for how much it costs. The Rivers buffet is much better. Unless your dead set on a buffet while you're at the meadows, I'd go to the new food court instead, more variety and better prices.

An interesting buffet to say the least. This was for a Thursday night dinner. hmmm... where to begin. First off the seating is really nice and you have a good view of the racetrack so that is nice. It is a smaller buffet but they did offer a decent variety of foods. Where did they lack? Sides. They didn't have any kind of Italian pasta not even mac n cheese.
