Amazing! Great atmosphere, good service, amazing food. I loved this restaurant. It's a little hard to find and you have to go down a flight of seedy looking stairs to get in... but then... just wow. The French dip is amazing!

A unique establishment!I have been to the Union Grill a few different times, and every time it feels like I am in Massachusetts walking into the “Cheers” bar. I think it’s amazing that you go downstairs and into a cellar, per se to have your experience. The walls and floor accentuate that you are in a lower level and it gives you this feeling of uniqueness. In this visit, we sat in a booth of the bar area during lunch time. Our server was very friendly with a pleasant smile, but didn’t check in as much as we would have liked. We had to wait a bit for the bill. There were definitely a lot of people dining in so I can understand the lack of checking more, but just wish that she would have. The food was amazing! My husband opted for the Cheesesteak and I went with the Italian Hoagie. Raspberry Vinaigrette is my suggestion all the way on this. Their homemade potato chips are so thick, flavorful and filling.I would highly suggest a reservation at any time after 4pm. Even at lunch, they are hopping!Due to the crowd that this restaurant gets, it does tend to get loud with just simple conversation, so be prepared if you’re somebody who enjoys quiet.Would definitely return for the food.Great coffee, cocktail and desserts.Happy Hour food and cocktails.Takeout and Dine-in are available. Open for lunch and dinner.Good for kids with high chairs and kids menus.Paid street parking. Somewhat hard to find a spot sometimes so plan on possibly walking further.Atmosphere is casual, trendy, historic, cozy and romantic..Wheelchair accessible seating, and restroom.Catering available.Parking: Parking is along the street. Must pay the meter. Sometimes can be hard to find a spot so plan on walking a little further just in case.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly with high chairs and kids menus.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible seating, and restroom.

Mediocre Italian Cuisine comparable to Olive Garden. Meals are somewhat overpriced for the portion and quality. The service was great, but this definitely isn't a fine dining experience.

Great staff, quick service, yummy food! My only minor complaint is that the chicken in my alfredo pasta could’ve had a bit more flavor. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their food!

Such good food found randomly on our road trip. Very glad we stopped here. It was quite loud but worth it for the pasta

The Union Grill is an amazing restaurant. I felt like I had just come back from Italy after my meal. It is rare to find a restaurant where you can tell the cooks care about what they are serving. The food took me back to the country side of Tuscany. Our server was so nice, attentive and just over all fun. The food is to die for hands down the best I've had. It is Italy on a plate. This is a must visit on a visit to Washington PA and we'll worth the drive. I can't wait to go back again.

I recently dined and opted for their Chicken Marsala dish. The food was truly excellent, with the Chicken Marsala boasting tender meat and a rich, flavorful sauce that left a lasting impression. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who ensured a pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere was great, providing a cozy and inviting setting for a memorable meal. Overall, exceeded my expectations, delivering both delicious food and exceptional service. It's definitely a place I'll be returning to in the future.

Quite a few good restaurant options in Washington, PA but the Union Grill is top of our list and quite simply, the BEST! Cozy atmosphere, great service and amazing pasta dishes. Large portions, fairly priced. And our server, Kayla, even secured our leftover containers with plastic wrap. Now that's class. EAT HERE!
