We reserved a table at Walnut Grill for my family, we were in town for the Wild Things game. The reservation was for 6 p.m. The hostess asked if it was okay if we had to wait 10 minutes because they were down some servers that day. We agreed because I also work as a server. The hostess never came back to us to let us know anything. We waited another 25 minutes. We had 4 children with us and so we left and went to Longhorn steakhouse which treated us with kindness and respect. The hostess was very rude and just ignored that we were even there. I will not go back to Walnut grill.

Had a very pleasant dining experience. The food was delicious, presented well, cold food was cold and hot food was hot. The manager was present and insured all was going well. Jonah our server was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. We highly recommend the Walnut grill in Washington, PA.

We were there for the brunch buffet on Easter, but it wasn't super busy. There were tables open, but service from our waitress was extremely slow. We ordered an Irish coffee and a sangria which took forever to get. We helped ourselves to the buffet and everything looked and tasted good for the most part. The chicken and beef were both a little dry, but the bigger problem was when I found a hair in my potatoes. I told the waitress and she apologized and took my plate, but that was all. Any other time I have had a problem like this anywhere, the manager also comes by to apologize, but that never happened. There were a few other service hiccups related to utensils and drinks. I do enjoy brunch buffets, so I really wanted to like this, but I don't think I'll go back.

Food was good, but I am on a strict diet and what they served was not on my menu. The most annoying thing that happened was was the waitress kept removing the dirty dishes throughout the dinner often reaching over our plates to remove things that were not bothering us. Also when time came to pay, she collected the check within 2 minutes and kept asking if we were done with it yet.

Ordered a flatbread appetizer and two entrees. There was maybe 6 tables taken in the restaurant. They were not busy whatsoever. Waited over 40 minutes to ask how much longer for our appetizer just to find out the server never put it in. We asked to cancel the whole order and we left. Wasted total of 50 minutes just to receive water.This was the second time I gave this place a try because first time was the exact same situation. Will not be going here again.

I ate here on Thursday night and it was the first time I’ve ever tried the walnut grill. I had Maddi as my server and she was absolutely amazing the entire meal. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for my first experience here. I will 100% be back again, and thank you so much for making me feel right at home with the amazing service.
