Is it fast food, if the service is slow? I guess the team was not expecting a larger crowd on Mondays, but it's labor day.I ordered a sandwich, which was probably the wrong choice. The staff was busy filling orders but the wait was long, especially for their new offering.The food was well prepared.I chose to not get a plastic bag, it's very insensitive of Popeyes to offer plastic bags with every order. Please stop filling our trash with plastic.
Well, it's a Popeyes chicken location, inside of a turnpike service plaza. They were really busy when I got there and were telling people in line ahead of me about what foods they didn't have. My son and I ordered our food, with him getting a chick strips meal, and me ordering meal number 2, which showed on the menu as a blackened chicken sandwich. When I ordered the guy said they only had the spicy chicken and asked if that was okay, so I said yes. After waiting about ten minutes...read full review

Employee seemed high and was friendly to other people ordering until we got up to order. She completely ignored us standing in front of her to wave at people off to the side who might have been her friends. Rude "I don't care about anything unless I know you" attitude. The other people working seemed fine but they didn't say anything. The sauces we were given were plenty (actually loved getting extras) but some of them were exploded or opened so it was really messy in the car....read full review
