Friendly staff, great food, good pricing and healthy servings. Historic setting, wife and I really enjoyed our dinner outing. The ham and bean soup was amazing, just like Grandma's as were the Amish noodles.

This place is inside of the ole Eagle Hotel in Waterford, Pa. A real hidden treasure in this small but very historic town. The interior of the building is beautiful and the food is GREAT. Servers are like your own mother's. Wonderful people.Parking: There is street parking with some handicap parking spots in the street. There is an handicap ramp to the far backside of the building. There is also a larger parking lot to the back, but parking is hard to find as the is a favorite place for many customers.Kid-friendliness: Many kids attended with their families. They seem to enjoy the historic place and the good food.

This is one of the best old fashion cooking eateries that I have come across. Their food is homemade, always served fresh, and looking delicious ?. This restaurant is over and hour away from me but I try to come here several times a year to enjoy their food and friendly atmosphere. You can't go wrong taking the time to eat at this great hidden gem!

Fantastic home cooked food at an extremely affordable price. Portions large enough for two people. Service is top notch and the fact that you're eating inside a building with history and character just takes it to the next level.Don't pass by this hidden gem in this quaint little town.

The hot roast beef sandwich is my go to here. Love it. Just a little pointer, the mashed potatoes are the 'side' in this dish. Everything seems to be made from scratch. My husband got the chicken tender wrap and said it was pretty spicy, but delicious. It is such a cozy, homey place to eat. Quaintly decorated. All the servers, hostesses, and cashiers are very friendly. There is a handicap ramp, but when you get to the door, you have to ring a doorbell.Parking: Parking lot is behind the building

All of the food is prepared on sight even the mashed potatoes. Everything is good I have not gotten a bad meal. I usually have to take a box home with me. Ps the deserts are home made also.
