“A very nice, very cheap breakfast. It was like an old time diner in a strip mall. The pancakes were great, very homemade tasting. The only thing I would really thought a place like this would have is real syrup, not just packets of syrup. Service was great and the place was packed!“
“Small pub with great selections. Very reasonable prices. Tried their cup of cream of crab, Could have had a gallon of it. Had the George Custer hot roast beef with gravy. Huge sandwich with huge favors. Save room for the deserts.The homemade pies and cakes were out of this world. Add to this a friendly staff and you have a pleasant evening.“
“This is by far the best BBQ in a 100 mile radius. The sauces are amazing. The meats are all so tender, juicy and flavor filled. This is a chain waiting to happen. I am so happy to have it in a small town where it's affordable. I can't say enough good things about this place. It belongs on Diners Drive ins n Dives just for the Amazing flavors...Vegetarian options: Lol Cole slaw. I can't speak for the owner but I hope vegetarians and vegans shy away from this meaty establishment!“
“Service is impeccable. You feel like you've stepped back in time with your ancestors and are dining with them. The period costumes help take you back in time. Food was excellent! All is delicious but I must point out a star in the menu. The hearty onion soup (actually thick like a stew is the best I've ever had! It's been several months since I've been there and it's still remarkable in my mind. I find myself comparing every French onion soups to this one and they cannot measure up to this one!“
“Picked up a takeout dinner for my husband today- the woman at to go was very nice, the reason I was giving four stars was the meal was a little pricey when I got home to see the portions…not the restaurants fault I’m sure they are governed by portions at the corporate level but it definitely seemed like a little food for the price“

“I love places like this - a local dive. Cutlery doesn't match, the place needs a rehab, but the food is good, the service friendly and fast and the prices decent. The bathroom is clean - which implies that the kitchen is clean as well.The pies and ice cream are great too.Now, to my ratings - the atmosphere is either a one star or a five star - if you like places where locals hang out to eat, then this is a five - a tourist would rate this a one.This'll be my go to place when I'm in the area.“
