Best and freshest pasta you’ll find in West Chester. Have always had good service here too. Great cocktails. Mussels were enormous. Recommend the broccoli & bacon pasta or the pistachio pesto!

My husband and I celebrated his birthday at Dolce Zola. It didn’t disappoint! We enjoyed our pasta dishes. The sauces were delicious and the fresh pasta perfectly prepared. The Caesar salad had a bit too much dressing on it so next time we’ll ask for less. BYOB sealed the deal! We’ll be back!

Food was outstanding, you can tell all of the pasta is made in house, from the gnocchi, to the ravioli it was all flavorful and delicious. The seating can be a little cramped in some areas but that tends to be how most restaurants in WC’s historical buildings are. Would definitely recommend Dolce Zola to any Italian lovers or for a great date night meal.

I made a reservation for ONLY 2 at 7:30 pm tonight (on a Saturday night). I was visiting West Chester for the weekend and heard good things about this place. When we got there at 7:38 (we were late looking for parking), the place was completely packed. we were told by the hostess running around that they don’t have any tables left at all and that it’s “going to be a 10 minute wait. Hopefully”. There was a group of 4 with a reservation at 7:45 who were waiting as well, And they were seated before us at 7:55 pm. I asked about our table after the 4 person group was seated, and the same hostess told me they had a very small table for us downstairs. We said yes, and got sat for my 7:30 reservation at 8:05 pm. We got our drinks and food at 8:30 pm. Our server also kept disappearing for 30 minutes at a time and gave us attitude when we asked for bread for a second time because she didn’t bring it the first time we asked. The Food was really good but the experience was just really stressful. The entire time i didn’t feel like a customer I felt like I was forcing these people to seat me when I had a reservation. We felt forgotten about by all staff. Please: If your restaurant does not have the space for small parties like 2 people, do not make reservations for tables available. It was super crowded and the vibes were not really enjoyable.

Everything was extremely average to below average, from the hostess who greeted us indifferently, to the food. We were sat with no menu which felt very odd, and it was more than a couple minutes before anyone was by to greet us. Our server mumbled and my dining partner couldn't understand him very well throughout the night. He finally brought us a QR code so we could look at the menu with our phones, which I would prefer we left in our pockets while on a date. QR code menus are for pandemics, or the airport, not a restaurant trying to be classy. The hightop seating area where we were sat was not the experience we were looking for, had more of a bar vibe and sound level than a date night spot. The pasta was decent but it was absolutely drowning in sauce. I got the lamb ragu and it didn't seem like there was any lamb flavor or meat in it at all. My date had a shrimp pasta and it looked as though our sauces were the same. He described his dish as average as well. I love tiramisu and had planned to try it, but we were both just looking to leave ASAP by the time our meals were finished. Then it took the waiter a long time to bring the check and run the card. With all the other great Italian choices in WC, we won't be back to this one.

Better than average but some of the apps are way overpriced -- grandma's meatballs and calamari for instance. (If your grandma is stingy then maybe you'll appreciate them.) Would not go out of my way to go back.

We were seated for close to 20 minutes and not one server came over. Many walked by and we were never even recognized. We decided to leave and since the hostess was no where to found, told a server we were leaving because no one came over, her response was not - “I am sorry, let me see what is going on,” it was “I will let the hostesses know.”Service looked bad at other tables as servers always seem to be MIA.

This place is pasta paradise. Best homemade pasta I've had. The staff are extremely engaged and considerate, and the owners are always there actively involved. You're able to customize just about everything for your dish, and it serves well. Absolutely delicious and a local spot we love to support.
