We had a lovely meal here; every course was really delicious and was enjoyed by both me (vegetarian) and my mother (omnivore). The service was outstanding. FYI for others, even reservations at the bar are only for the prix fixe tasting menu. We hadn't quite gotten that impression from the website or the confirmation messages, so be advised. Walk-ins and the seasonal porch seating have a "drinks and snacks" menu available. We'll definitely be back to try that, too!

This restaurant resides in the old Inkeepers Kitchen at the former Dilworthtown Inn.We recently visited with another couple for the tasting menu. Overall, the food was tasty but the portions tiny. The first few dishes were shared plates, each of which would e considered too small for a single person nevermind four. We are talking less than a fork or spoonful per person. Looking at the two person table next to us, they seemed to get the same portions as the four of us.Portions this small make it difficult to appreciate the flavors and preparation of the otherwise well prepared dishes.

Ground Provisions was excellent. Their gluten-free substitutions were as delicious and as incredibly creative as the standard offerings. Our server Brooke was fantastic, and the atmosphere was perfect.If you haven’t gone, go. It was so nice to have such a unique, and special dining experience!

Totally vegan, totally awesome. The tasting menu is several courses/dishes each with a distinctive and collated sensory experience. Service is top notch, decor is beautiful and the ambience is quiet and relaxing. Music is a personal thing, but the playlist while we were there was right up our street. Not cheap but certainly came away feeling it was money well spent.

I have stopped in a few times for take out. The place is a beautiful setting. I have not done the seated dinners yet. Take out was very fresh, filling and loved the flavors. I am not totally plant based but curious and open to good food. It is nice to have a place that does food that is plant based, tastes really good, and has a gourmet twist.

Ground Provisions is a hidden gem in Chester County. We have been coming almost weekly since they opened. The food is creative, delicious, and comforting. The beverages are a treat. The service is personal and warm. The atmosphere is relaxed. It is the perfect way to unwind after a long work week, or treat yourself on a special occasion. Cheers to Rich and Kate on creating this special place. We have been super fans of Vedge, V Street, and Wiz Kid. Ground Provisions exceeded our expectations and we look forward to many memorable meals here.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. We first visited about a week after opening and have been coming almost monthly ever since. The food is phenomenal. The atmosphere is perfect. The service is top notch. We were big fans of their other restaurant, Vedge, and enjoy this a bit more. The pre fixe menu makes it easy lol. At Vedge we would end up ordering the menu. Love them both. Both are easily in our top three restaurants.Side note: the porch menu in the summer is amazing also. Get the fries.
Phenomenal. A great experience - we were looking forward to a plant based vegan dining experience, and it was amazing! The whole experience was so nice - the setting inside the historic house, and the service was exceptional, and the food... well that was unexpected, delicious, and unforgettable! They even accommodated my wife's special diet, and we enjoyed every course. We had flavors together we never had, and the fall menu with beets, squash, and mushrooms was unbelievably good. I did the wine paring with wines from Italy, France, Canary Islands, and were so different that what I am used to. On the way out we grabbed some cookies from the market, which were excellent! we both want to come back every season to experience it again with different dishes and vegetables. Highly recommend this place!
