This is not authentic Jamaican cuisine at all. Jerk chicken had little to no spice I also tried the jerk pork it was bland and under seasoned. The point of making cultured food is the tastes and seasonings of said country until they embody that I would not eat here again first and last

Miss Winnie’s has my ALLTIME favorite burger. It is perfectly char-broiled, which makes it taste like it is fresh off the grill, just like it would at a barbecue. The j*** seasoning adds a perfect extra punch of spice but it is by no means too spicy at all. The pickles combined with the jicama slaw add a perfect tangy crunch. It’s a delicious, simple burger that goes for quality over quantity when it comes to the amount of toppings. Im sure their other dishes are just as yummy, but for my their burgers shine. 10/10.

Man , I was so excited to try this place. I even called them prior to going and asked “is the food good”..the man on the phone said “you’re talking to the cook so yes it’s good”. That was bs. The most unflavored food I’ve ever had. This place is a joke. Debating on calling the local township police because it’s a crime how much they charge for BLAND food. This is not a real Jamaican spot. DO JOT RECOMMEND. I’m serious. All jokes aside this was horrible. Really want my $24 back.

Miss Winnie’s provided catering for a special lunch at our school, and everything was delicious and high quality! The owner, Bert, and his staff went the extra mile for us to get a catering order in on short notice and were so friendly to work with. I would order from them again and highly recommend!

I was very excited to try this place seeing all the reviews but was a bit disappointed. The beef patty was okay, but the rest of the food was very bland. I had to salt and pepper my meal.I had to edit this review down to a 1 star. Manje was way better.

We met the owner, Bert. He's also the chef here. They cook with passion. The food is truly delicious and authentic. It's also very reasonably priced. Will continue to come here.

I can not say enough about this place. I used to live on an island so I know good Caribbean food. I was surprised to even like their cabbage. Normally it’s too bitter for me. I am so excited to have found a place so delicious and so close to home!

The food was not giving, which was Jamaican food. I don’t even know how to cook but I KNOW I would make better Jamaican food than this. There was no Jamaican in sight. Also the rice definitely was microwaved rice. Y’all need to add salt. DO BETTER MISS WINNIES

*Takeout review*Restaurant: 5/5Food: 4.5/5Parking: Free limited parkingWe've been wanting to come here for awhile, but have not been able to due to the location and the hours. We were finally able to stop in after a movie and ordered few items for takeout. There's also indoor dining available, but the seats are limited. The restaurant itself feels very unique, comfortable and there's definitely a hint of history showing. What we ordered:-Beef Patty (Delicious, very fresh and flavorful)-Vegetable Patty (Delicious, very fresh and flavorful. The taste reminds me very much of a Grandma's home cooked Chicken potpie)-Jerk Chicken platter (Very good and delicious. With the exception of cabbage, it had no flavor, could use some salt and pepper at least)-Curry Chicken platter (Very good and delicious, same issue with the cabbage)Keep in mind the patty's can take up to 30 minutes to make and cook, I didn't mind it they are well worth the wait. a MUST HAVE. Both of the platters comes with Rice or Rice and beans. We will definitely be back.

What a joke. I wish I could give this restaurant less than 1 star. As a native of Brooklyn, NY, and A Haitian American, I know good Jamaican food. Heard this place was good from friends and by the reviews. The food was bland, the curry chicken was a joke and everything was not good in general. And yes be weary when there are no Jamaican people working in a Jamaican restaurant ??. I’m trying to figure out where all the good reviews came from. But then again, there are barely 100 of them. Lesson learned. Cafeteria grade Jamaican food at best.

This place is a gimmick. I should’ve known how he food was going to be in general when I saw no black people working in a “Jamaican” restaurant. That was just the first red flag, the second was they had no lamb, only had ox tail at a certain time, and had no side other rice and rice and beans and cabbage. On top of that the chicken was doo doo, maybe suburban folk don’t much about spices because the only thing put on my chicken was literally curry and that’s it and put it in the smallest pocket in the platter. Same thing for the cabbage, sweet and unseasoned. Then gave me more rice than my actually meal. To call this place a Jamaican restaurant should flat out be a crime all together. Then charging you actual platter prices while they give you scraps. Then overcook and burn plantains. Me actually knowing what a real looks and tastes like makes you feel robbed and disappointed that folks are even comfortable being open. The most suburban Jamaican restaurant I will never be going to again. A real Jamaican chef needs to call this in as a crime because that’s just absolutely sad that people in the reviews really think that’s considered real folk food smh

I ordered on line and delivered, the small amount of food and not authentic to me , dice up some chicken , 2 pieces of plantain? $17 ? Curry chicken same , no sauce, and small dice of chicken, very disappointed. I would not order again .
