Absolutely love the food here! The spicy chicken cordon blue cheesesteak is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had! The fries are always done nice and crispy, and if you order wiz on the side they give you a big ol' cup of it! Top the meal off with a delicious milkshake, and you'll have to roll out of this place!!

What a disappointment. Hadn't been back here in a couple years and looked forward to the food. Eat in, no wait staff, had to order at the counter. No problem, placed our order and sat in a booth & waited. Paid upfront at time of order. No fountain drinks or iced tea anymore all bottles. Then after about 15 minutes went back to check on food & they had wrapped & bagged it to go. Was barely warm & cheese steak virtually soggy. Had to ask for paper plates. All employees seemed like high school aged. No effort what so ever. Carpet was filthy, obviously gone down hill. Really a shame because it was always so good. I don't recommend this place anymore.

I got a cheesesteak and was so ravenously hungry that I gobbled it down before taking my picture of the meal...BUT it WAS delightful to have an excellent sandwich and a nice conversation with a friend. Audience, I highly recommend The Pepper Mill.Parking: While it's not a huge lot there's always plenty of room for this small, charming sandwich shop!

Not ADA compliant. No front entrance. No ramp. No bathroom accessibility. Unfortunate. You can purchase portable ramps for entrances. Many establishments do.Hoping for better for the next person.
We had a wonderful lunch. Both of us got cheesesteaks, and we had Cajun fries and onion rings ... the onion rings were very good and the fries were crinkle cut both were hot and fresh! The cheesesteaks were tender meat not greasy at all. The roll was so soft on the inside and the outside had a thin crisp to it ... in my opinion perfect texture. They were so hot (temperature wise) and plenty of meat and cheese. Some places you go are so skimpy with the portions and this place did it perfect just how we like! We will definitely be back when we are in the area.
