“Our server was amazing! She had a group of over 100 people coming and going over a 2 hour span and she rocked it. I had the Cobb salad, which was light and tangy, very refreshing. The pickle chips were amazing! The batter on them was so good, it was tough to share! Great location by our hotel, huge patio area, and the weather was perfect that evening. “Hands down the best Thai food I've ever had. the steamed pork dumplings are addictive sometimes I'll just get 3 orders of those. Their Pad kee Mao is my favorite dish, the flat rice noodles hold the flavor amazingly and this is also the first Thai place I've ever encountered that a 10/10 spice is too much for me. 6-7 is so rich with spice without the overwhelming heat. I haven't had a single bad thing from here and have been going the for years now. best Thai food in Pittsburgh“

“I've always been a fan of Grist House brewing. They have some good barrel aged stouts when they put them out. Also the IPA's are pretty solid. They seem to have a ton of sours as well which people love. I like them, but they don't like me (sours that is). Great outdoor space. I however at times get annoyed with some of the enormous dogs people bring. I have no issue with dogs, let me say that, but people sometimes bring massive dogs and are clueless to the fact that they are blocking doorways and things. It's also a Penn State brewery which is cool. They have firefest every year and that is a great time. Food trucks daily. Parking sucks, all street parking.“

“Loved our Mother's Day dinner. Especially enjoyed being in the smaller wine room. We thoroughly enjoyed the double cut lamb chops which I was able to share with my husband. We were sorry that there were no baked potatoes, but the creamed spinach and mashed potatoes were very good. Love Capital Grille in Naples, FL and Pittsburgh restaurant is equally good! ??“

“This was the best meal that I have ever had in my life. After every bite I was speechless with how good it was. Very sad that I live 5 hours away or I would be here all the time. We arrived around 7pm on a spring Friday and we didn't have to wait at all. The only thing that I don't like is that you have to order at the counter. I think since it was my first time I felt a little rushed. But I had looked at the menu ahead of time so I kinda knew what I wanted. The person at the register also helped me make some decisions. We went with the pickle plate, some perogies, the schnitzel, and a dessert. The waiters did a great job of coursing the food. Some highlights were the fennel salad on the pickle plate, the potatoes and the beet salad that came with the schnitzel. And for dessert, we just had to notify a waiter that we were ready and it came out promptly. Everything was delicious. I was really impressed with every aspect. This felt cozy and relaxed. I can't wait to come back to pittsburgh and eat here again.“

“Peppi’s deserves five THOUSAND stars. I called them less than an hour before closing to ask whether they might be able to accommodate a 22-sub order for the film crew I’m a part of. I was fully expecting them to say no, they wouldn’t be able to do it, and was ready to call around elsewhere. But to my complete delight, they said yes, and they blew our minds by making all 22 subs in under 30 minutes. Plus, they were super friendly. We had one very happy film crew that day, and that meal powered us through the rest of the shoot. Big shoutout to the whole team at Peppi’s. You guys rule and we will be coming back often!!!“

“D's has made all of my hot dog dreams come true. You can build your own hot dog or choose from a list of delicious combinations. My go to is the mason Dixon, topped with chili and coleslaw. They also have a wide selection of beer and other bar foods but we keeping coming back for the hot dogs.“
