“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!“

Googled the best pho and Pho Van was top of the list.Quiet Easter Sunday in Strip District but not Pho Van.There was lineup outside of the restaurant. In my mind, it’s gotta be good.I went in the restaurant and checked myself in. There were few people waiting before me. Waited almost 25 mins.It’s weird that they didn’t sit us in when there was a table for 4 people.I asked the staff and they said there was one person in front of me.So, it doesn’t make sense to me if you want to sit 1 person at a 4 people table.anyway, that person got another table and I sit at the table which was ready 10 mins ago.————-Pho:It’s very pricy comparing to Toronto (i know I can’t compare but still…). A bowl of Pho cost me $18 USD (~$25 CAD) and it’s only one size.Soup base was nice. No heavy MSG. I ordered eye round pho. Portion was ok (Large size in Toronto), meat portion was just ok.
