If you want an overpriced restaurant, this is the place. On the menu, the least expensive dishes were $30. Your choices: tenderloin tips (sold out by 7:00), calf liver, or vegetable platter. My husband and I chose a special, salmon. We each had a salad (not fancy), no vinegrette dressing, and charged extra for blue cheese, which we didn't know. Soup, your choice of something beef or tomato juice?? We weren't offered a potato, although it states potato included. I guess the couscous is our starch. If we wanted a side vegetable, that was extra. Coffee, and tea. Our bill? $92. Couldn't believe it. You see, waitress never stated any prices. So special doesn't mean affordable. Waitress never asked me what I wanted to drink. My husband reminded her. To top it off, the place was freezing. People sitting with coats on. We had a small fireplace, so I would occasionally stand next to. Oh, their bread comes from Tops. Save your money.

One of the area's best places to dine, tucked away in historic Westline, Pa. This inn has fabulous food and a famous 'dusty trout' in the pub area. Choose from their elegant dining room or friendly pub area for seating. Pub and dinner menu both have excellent choices. Warm and welcoming staff as well as interesting historical decor to enjoy!

Been going to westline since I was a kid all great memories stem from there something about being up there can't explain it the area the woods the isolation a step back back in time ,you forget where you are and worries all I can say. Westline inn is the best even if your there to take a walk stop for drink and sandwich you will love it !

Absolutely phenomenal food. Simply delicious and beyond compare. Our server was wonderful, very attentive, and overall just great. Be prepared for pricey, but there's nothing that holds a candle to it anywhere nearby.Food & drinks: We did not stay there, we ate in the restaurant. Reservations are highly recommended.

The food, atmosphere and service here is great! Don't miss this restaurant if you are in the Allegheny National Forest. Hiking attire is OK! Our group of hikers had a wonderful meal!

We wanted to take the four grandchildren out for a nice dinner, as we can only get together a few times per year. The owner took the time to show us all around and explain the history of the restaurant. Great taxidermy and old pictures. The waitress was wonderful with the kids (ages 5 through 13) and the food was excellent. Grandma ordered a broiled fish with peppers and mushrooms, I had fish and chips, my daughter had crab cakes that were perfect. The kids were all happy with their dinners. Not one complaint. We were extremely satisfied. Thanks Westline

My significant and I traveled to the Allegheny for my bday and our 5th Anniversary together. We met someone on our first leg of our trip that told us to make a stop in the Westline on our last leg of our trip if we had a chance. Not only did we make 1 stop at the Westline, but we made it a point to go back a 2nd time. The food is fabulous, the pub is quaint, and the staff is extremely friendly. Highly recommend a stop in her if you have the chance.

Very cool atmosphere and great food. The setting is very special. We took the CCC road from Red Bridge trail head, which made this place seem more out of the way. Don't recommend the route, but do recommend the destination.
