“First time here yesterday evening and we were very happy that we were told about the Damn Inn.Got the Jalapeño bacon burger and Steak hoagie. The food was fantastic! The atmosphere was very comfy as well.The waitress was awesome and did an awesome job.I would highly recommend stopping by here. We will absolutely return when back near that area.“

Also, read the menu item descriptions—I accidentally ordered a burger that was almost 1lb of beef and it was so good I ate the whole thing! “This place looks like a dive from the outside. The joints on the pipe railing on the steps outside are wrapped with electrical tape. The worn front door has a hole where a lock used to be. The checkerboard floor in the bar has a gouge here and a divot there, and hasn't been fixed since the fifties. In the dining room, duct tape holds the seams of the old carpet down so that nobody trips on them. Welcome to Szymanski's, home of great soup, great food, and great pie. Not to mention great service. We stopped in for some delicious Italian wedding soup, sandwiches server on croissants, and a Caesar salad as big as Caesar's palace, then finished up with homemade peanut butter pie and pecan pie. Appearances can be deceiving!“

“Excellent food and great service. We had two basics—bacon cheeseburger and crispy chicken sandwich. Both arrived on homemade rolls; chips & fries are also homemade. Cheeseburger and chicken were cooked perfectly. American faves done exactly right, plus nice servers and reasonable prices. Huge win.“

“It was good. The food serving was large and tasted fresh. Seemed to be cooked with care and attention. The service was very good and on point. The had a bluegrass trio playing modern tunes while dinner service was going on. It was very nice and not too loud or overwhelming. When I'm in the area again, it's a definite must stop.“
