Quite possibly the best-kept secret in Wilkes-Barre. Top-notch service, great prices and some of the best food you will ever taste...what more can you ask for? You will definitely not come out of here hungry.Parking: Parking is somewhat tricky, since the restaurant is located inside of the Luzerne County Courthouse. But all in all, that shouldn't stop one from getting some of the best-tasting sandwiches in the Wyoming Valley. Definitely worth checking out.

We were looking for a breakfast spot near the river and found out the Cafe was in the courthouse, so for something different we went inside. This was the first time I was ever weapon searched for breakfast (smile). The Cafe is just inside the rear courthouse entrance. I had my normal eggs, toast, and potatoes, with sausage. Others had a bagel breakfast sandwich. All food was great and around $5-6. After breakfast we toured the courthouse, this was great...quite an unexpected breakfast location with a great history outing...there is ALOT of marble in that rotunda! ? Definitely recommended if you want something different for a breakfast stop. Oh, the staff were excellent!

I ordered tickets online for a show. The information stated the doors open at 8:00 and the show was at 9:00. The doors never opened until 8:30 and the show never started til 9:30. So we stood outside for a good 1/2 hour. The venue has an indoor and outdoor space. It’s definitely a locals hang out. Casual dress, dress up and you’ll probably be the only ones all dolled up. With the understanding of the name being “Jazz club” we anticipated a wonderful tribute show from a band in Jazz format not a regular live show band. There was nothing “Jazz-like” about the entertainment. They were extremely short staffed and the wait on food and drink long. I had ordered a shot and never got it. Prices seemed to be cheaper. Our bill for 2 was about 70.00. Food was ehh. My salad (wedge salad) was literally a large chopped wedge of salad uncut with toppings on it. I had to ask for chicken to be added. Hamburger were small. They reminded me of your dads homemade cookout burger. While the experience was had this isn’t a place I’d recommend if you’re looking for a nice dinner and actual “Jazz “ show. This is your local bar with limited menu of local American food. Enjoy if you go!

Center City is easily the best lunch spot in downtown Wilkes Barre. The food is always delicious & the specials are so creative. The lady behind the counter is so sweet and nice to talk to! Btw get your sandwich on the croissant if you can. It’s the best.

Everyone raved about the “build your own taco bar.” My favorite part was that Donna came to set up for us (every time), which took so much pressure off of us the morning of our event so we could concentrate on other things.
