Everything was perfect. The Customer Service was awesome, Michael & Leslie did a fantastic job making the whole experience like dining at home. Food, drink and ambiance was great. A great dining experience and a must place to visit.

Server was extremely friendly - ordered mussels marinara, chicken Caesar salad and the scallops. It took almost an hour an half to get our food. Mussels had broken shells in the sauce, chicken was like rubber and the scallops weren't any better. We were going to a scheduled event - I would have taken and paid for our sub-par food but the server didn't seem to have enough help so we left without the leftovers and without paying. I was put in touch with the manager who attempted to make it right but at that point there really wasn't anything he could do. I am not sure if the server was new or overwhelmed but we couldn't figure out why it took so long to get our food and then even longer to even bring us a few boxes. Their was another woman walking around but she seemed to be doing not much of anything. It ruined our night out.

Awesome place the bartender was very attentive bringing us our cocktails to the table, our waitress well what can I say it was like a family atmosphere and the food was out of this world , don't let the place fool you it's fantastic and already planning to come back and actually stay at the best western which is attached to the restaurant

My husband and I were making our way back to NC from NH and spent the night at the Best Western. Oyster Restaurant was conveniently located in the lobby. We had an excellent meal - the filet mignon was huge and cooked to perfection. The chicken parmigiana was as well. The portion was easily enough for 2. Michael made the absolute best Lemon Drop martinis we'd ever had and both he and Leslie were more than attentive, providing us with the most personalized service one could ask for. All in all an excellent experience!

Went to the Oyster Restaurant Seafood and Steakhouse for some evening dining and we were rewarded with a fantastic meal. Highly recommend the lobster bisque (family recipe that is sure to please) and the Rigatoni was the best. Leslie our waitress was so pleasant and really provided detailed information on what we were ordering. I can tell you the Rigatoni with two oversized meatballs in a rich tomato sauce and Ricotta cheese was exquisite. The selection of wines was very good. The dining room is very intimate and makes for a glorious dining experience.

Had reservations to eat here tonight at 6. Stood at the hostess area for 10 minutes and no one. Popped our heads into the seating area and none of the servers bothered to acknowledge us, so we left.

We had a nights stay and visited the bar for an evening cocktail. What we thought was going to be a quick visit turned into a wonderful evening. Michael the bartender was funny, great stories and a True Mixologist. We will definitely be back!

We went to this restaurant located inside the Best Western in Wilkes Barre cause we wanted something different & it had great reviews. This place definitely lived up the hype. It was very intimate. The guy who sat us also served us & his name was Michael & he was the best! Our food was delicious & there was so much. My MIL had a special which was chicken francaise & it was huge & she said it was very delicious. I’m had the filet- which was amazing. My husband had the NY Strip - again amazing. We split a chocolate peanut butter cake for dessert- yum! Not overly sweet which we like - it was just really good. I really recommend this place cause it is worth it. It’s not a place to go to if you are in a hurry - it’s a relaxed pace meal which when you are socializing is perfect. The volume of the noise was just right. You could have a quiet conversation & not feel like you have to yell to the person next to you. The 3 of us all really enjoyed it & plan to go back again. Hopefully, Michael is there cause he was awesome!

The bartender publicly belittled his server. He acted as my server while I sat at the bar and I sat there for 15 minutes before he made his first appearance. Food was good, I had chicken Parm.

Superb dining experience! You will not be disappointed. Enjoyed all my dinners here while staying in the adjoining Best Western hotel on business. Food is superb and service is terrific. Make sure you ask for Michael and Leslie to serve you. They are the best! Will be dining there again when I am back in Wilkes-Barre on business.

We pulled into Wilkes-Barre PA late at night after a bad travel from Orlando FL. We were tired and upset. When we pulled up, the first people we saw were Michael and Leslie who helped us get organized with the Best Western Hotel. They had the bar open and were very welcoming. I just wanted to grab a beer and get into my bed. Instead I found them so friendly that I sat in the bar. In conversation I found out that Michael had an August birthday. So do I. Michael and Leslie went into the restaurant and came back with birthday cake complete with candles and sparklers. They made me feel like an old friend. We sat and talked for a while until I relaxed from my bum trip. I grabbed the beer I originally wanted and went to bed and now could get some sleep before getting breakfast at the Oyster and going to my cousin's funeral. Big time thanks to Michael and Leslie for helping me unwind and get some sleep. I'll be back to the Best Western and Oyster Restaurant whenever I'm in the PA area.

Let me start with Michael. He is awesome. Best waiter, bartender and will be there for whatever you need. The food is the best. I had an Oyster wedding 11 years ago and everyone stills talks about the food and wedding. Ask Michael about his Cosmos. They are the best drink around. I recommend Oysters to anyone and they will it not disappoint. I recommend Oysters to everyone and make sure to say Hi to Michael.

Very warm, welcoming staff. Michael is a wonderful waitperson- funny, attentive, pleasant. Food was excellent and plentiful. Some creativity in dishes such as wasabi encrusted filet mignon. Tuna roll also delicious. This is a long meal - so be prepared to enjoy conversation with your dining mates. We had appetizers and main course - no dessert- we were there for about 2 hours. Interesting setting. Definitely idly recommend.
