Decided to try out a new place and regretted it completely. My friend ordered a steak and it came drenched in water, flavorless, could see through the fat. He tried one bite and asked the server nicely to send it back and that he was not hungry anymore. The blonde older woman who was our server gave us an awful look and attitude about that. She then came back over and i asked for the check in which she did not say anything back to and then had another server come give us our check while we watched them talk about us from five tables away. Very rude service. Other than that the ambiance was very cute though and cozy and my wings were very tasty.

Hidden gem right here in our own backyard in Wilkes Barre. Classic Irish pub atmosphere with all the ingredients included. Great food, solid drink menu and plenty of good conversation going on inside.

Thursday evening. Party of 4. Had prime rib, chicken francaise and quesadilla. All tasted very good, though thought quesadilla was small for a dinner portion (this was not from the appetizer section).Bar tables were filled but only a few tables in dining area. Only one server was working that night: she did a fantastic job covering everything herself. Didn't mind the service being a little slow as we were catching up with friends, and dislike feeling rushed, in general. We hadn't been to Patte's in years - just feel of the radar. We; won't wait so long to return.

Pretty typical NEPa bar/restaurant in terms of atmosphere. But, I thought, better than average food. Service (we were sitting at the tables) was good, menu selection was decent and prices very reasonable. With a beer & dinner, we were @ 25$/plate. Not too bad. Parking was off street.
