My husband and I are new to PA, I started looking for places near by to eat and came across this place, seeing the amount of good reviews it has we decided to try it out. Waitress was nice (even though we were talking to her in spanish and she was responding in english, doesn’t matter we both are bilingual, personally a little rude, but she was nice), she brought out chips and salsa, salsa had no flavor and no touch of hotness at all. My husband ordered an “agua fresca de horchata” which was horrible, no flavor, no sugar, it faintly had the touch of what it was meant to be. For appetizer we ordered nachos they are served tex-mex style but a poor version of it, lack of flavor and taste as well, yes a big portion of chips topped with beans, lettuce, mayo and cheese everything unevenly distributed. My husband ordered a “molcajete” which to the eye looked appetizing (even though we were regretting going there after the salsa, agua fresca and nachos), I ordered a steak quesadilla which was alright in flavor, better than what we got served before. I was done eating and my husband was starting to make his third taco when he noticed a cockroach on the wall !!! I tried to kill it but it made a drop from the table to the floor, we got disgusted after seeing that, I wanted to puke immediately. I let our server know of that incident, she gave us her apologies, we asked for the bill and she charged ALL OF THE FOOD & DRINKS !! Now, I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for 14 yrs and if a customer ever told us about a bug incident we would give a discount on their bill. Molcajete was $25.00 which we felt bad in throwing it away so we asked for it to go and put it down for our cat. Personally we didn’t liked this place nor the food, not going back at all. We tried Cactus which is two blocks down or so across the street, food is tastier and agua de horchata as it has to be ! Oh and no roaches around ??P.S MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN STOMACH SICK SINCE WE GOT HOME LAST NIGHT, IT’S 7AM AND IT’S WORSE ?

Did a takeout Al Pastor burrito today. Friendly staff, delicious overstuffed burrito. First time here, will make it a more frequent stop to try some other things on their menu.

I got food from here delivered off of Uber eats and I am so pleased with my order! The esquite was good and the birria tacos might be the best I’ve had so far. The only thing I would say though is that I wish the chicken in the flautas were a little more seasoned, otherwise everything was delicious!
I did a carry out. The food was fresh and tasty. I would deal with the mediocre service again for the food. 5/5 on the

Food was good as athentic Mexican goes. There is a lot of competition in this town. Where this joint struggled was service and atmosphere. It did take quite awhile to get the food and one of our apps came after the main course. This seemed to be due to the high volume of door dash orders they were giving priority over actual customers that took the time to drive down. Our server ordered hoagies for herself and another worker. Once they arrived. Service got worse as both workers sat down in the booth next to us to eat. We had to ask to pay. The worker did not was hands before or after the money transaction. Gross..I guess if I really want this joints food again.. I would just door dash it. But the food safety issues will send me elsewhere as there really are many places as good or better.

Not only were my nachos a generous amount but the price was unbeatable. Truly the best nachos I have eaten.Vegetarian options: The vegetables were savory and fresh.
