Fast. Tasty. Very affordable. Highly recommend.Parking: Watch out for the puddles. Be careful when exiting the parking lot, so many drivers don't pay attention close to the railroad crossing.

I Need to say this first. My wife has been the one who has pick up our last two orders as this is our new spot for us. Tonight was my first time in there and let me tell you I was a kid again. When u think pizza joint I was not expecting what I saw. It was really cool and if you have not been there you Need go and see for yourself. Not to mention the food has not yet disappointed us and I gave props where Props are due and Tonight as a pickle lover I tried the pickle pizza and it was on point. Next time we order and please know they give the perfect amount of pickles it's in every bite but I want more pickles it was that good. I'm A born and raised South Philly guy who has been spoiled with all kinds of foods and I have to say this is a really good spot to check out if u have not yet. My compliments to the cooks and staff. Love itVegetarian options: Being a Pizza place you can many options for yourself for sure.Parking: They have a Parking lot that you can park in.Kid-friendliness: Without a doubt. Trust me when I say you have to see for yourself.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes they have on the site parking and a ramp for wheel chairs.

Whatinthe Sam Hill’s Brick Oven Pizza restaurant is not only a small pizza parlor where one can enjoy great pizza, but it also serves as a time machine as well, taking one back at least 40 years when Rubik’s Cube was the craze, and 45 RPM records were a dying species. We arrived on a Friday night around 6:45 and had our choice of seating, as most of the 5 or 6 tables were empty. We were greeted almost immediately by our server, who took our order and told us to grab our choice of soft drinks from a nearby glass door refrigerator/cooler.As we sat down and waited for our meal, we amused ourselves by admiring all of the toys and games that brought us a gleeful sense of nostalgia. From the aforementioned Rubik’s cube to the family game of Operation to an array of Fisher-Price toys, we discussed how at least one of us had those as a kid.On one side of a hallway leading to the unisex bathroom were 45 and 33 RPM records hanging from the wall, many of them featuring music from the 70s and 80s. On the other side was a tapestry of vintage baseball cards. Even in the bathroom was an old-time L’oreal (or was it Revlon?) lighted make-up mirror, the likes of which I can remember my sister using back in the 80s.Upon my return to our table our pizza was already there waiting for me. We ordered a large deep dish, half with meatballs and extra cheese, and the other half mushrooms and sweet peppers. The 8-slice pie – served piping hot – was more than filling, as we had to take two slices home with us. The pizza was very delicious and well-prepared, with a soft texture and a crispy bottom. The toppings were abundant and flavorful. One certainly gets their money's worth for a price under $10.Pizza isn’t all that you can order, as the menu also presents wings with a selection of sauces, a variety of hoagies, strombolis, salads and appetizers (mini tacos, fries, etc.).Parking isn’t the greatest. There is a side lot that can accommodate 6 or 7 vehicles, but we were forced to resort to street parking across from the restaurant. Even though the establishment was mostly empty, the lack of parking may be due to the constant influx of patrons coming in to pick up their takeout order.Overall, Whatinthe Sam Hill is a clean, delightful place, with a friendly staff and an atmosphere that will sure to bring back many a pleasant memory.

The pizza was very yummy, we ordered mushroom and onion and both toppings were fresh. My friend took me here to check out the player piano in the back room! SUPER COOL antique, and lots of vintage 80s-90s board games to check out and use. The owner had local football games posted. Seems like it would be a perfect after school hang out spot!

This place does not get enough credit. Ever since a local competitor shut down, I've been coming here. Their pizza is amazing. Very reliable cooks and very timely service. I compare their pizza to many very tenured pizza places in adjacent areas. Great for youngsters to go and play various vintage games they have sitting around.
