The food is terrific. Best Soul Food in Williamsport for sure. I love the different food choices that are available. The desserts are delicious too. The service was good and the place is clean.

Great food! Great people! Everything I had was delicious and the staff are super friendly. I love the cabbage! I was skeptical at first but the seasoning is perfect! The corn bread, the hush puppies, the chicken… everything tastes great!

Delicious seafood. Chicken tenders were amazing! These guys know how to make a delicious batter for whatever they are frying up. Also, I really appreciated how the French fries were cooked perfectly! Lightly crispy on the outside, yet pillowy soft on the inside. They nailed it! Bring your appetite and get ready to feel like family. Get your soul down to AKAK!

This place has great food! I thought, but my husband on the other had thought his fried chicken platter tasted a bit like fish ? needless to say the same grease was used. But I thought it was great. So I gave 4 stars ?

It is rare that I find myself counting down the days for a restaurant to open so I can eat there again. The perfectly breaded and seasoned catfish, the warm and gooey mac and cheese. I cannot express how much I love eating at this place. I am going to eat it for dinner tonight. I can not get enough! Compliments to all involved in making this delicious food.
Good food, really nice staff. Awesome hush puppies, and really good cornbread, potato salad, and mac & cheese. The mac could have used a little more salt - we added a bit more at home at least. We probably should have reheated the mac after getting home though (after driving in a cold car on a really cold night a few weeks ago, so no fault of the business), which might have enhanced its flavor. The sides come in two sizes, small and large. They're two or three dollars different in price. The large was enough to split as a side between two people, or to have one big portion for one. We also got a bean pie, which was delicious. We finished everything, despite being ridiculously full by the end. I really appreciated that the employee I talked with on the phone was willing to go over which of their sides were vegetarian, as the menu doesn't have enough detail to know for sure. Unsurprisingly, but sadly for me, the collards have meat in them, so that was a no-go. But the sides I listed above are all veggie (no meat/lard). I didn't check on any others. Choosing from sides doesn't always lead to the most balanced meal, but it sure was good, and I'll be back for more!

Enjoyed the fish and greens, recommend everyone to take a break from cooking and enjoy a home cook meal.
