“My family has been a multi-year patron of Andrew Moore's Stone Bar Inn. Most of our dining visits. whether a table for two, or my entire family together at one time, have been top-notch first-class dining. We've enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor dining experience. We've enjoyed trying out each room for dining. We even did the old "kitchen experience table" many years ago as a birthday gift from my family. We, DW and I decided to celebrate our 43'rd wedding anniversary this past Thursday evening. Everything was once again "top notch" as we had hoped. Adn we even helped Bruce at the bar enjoy his 88th birthday! Table snacks and rolls? Perfect! Drinks? Very very nice. Apps and dinner were just as hoped for. Cooked perfectly and served hot and right on time. The music man started laying at 6 and was a ton of fun and I complimented him for his playing and singing "in tune"! Just to repeat; this was The Stone Bar Inn at it best and our servers and dinners and atmosphere choice (sitting in the bar area) made for a perfect 43rd anniversary celebration. Our 45-minute drive was not too far to go for the evenings experience, and we will do it again soon!“
“Addison was our very pleasant waitress. She did a great job with our order and checking on us without being annoying. I had a hot dog with chili and those fabulous sweet potato waffle fries. My husband had a cheesesteak and tot. Everything was good. Of course our favorite course was a scoop of DAT’S delicious ice cream. We will definitely be back!“
“Let me just tell you that this is my absolute favorite go to whenever a girls night is underway and I plan on taking my significant other for a date night as well. Food is beyond amazing and fresh . Service is always top notch and welcoming . Tonight we had a male bartender/sever who was new to us (NoT Dylan) and he was Phenemonal as well! Everything was on point. These drinks some of the best I ever had. We had the Creme Brulee Tini and French Martini both 10 plus Stars. I am so in love with this place. “We had teddys for lunch and must say the cheese steak was one of the best you can get. I got a cheese steak before with their wiz and really wasn't really impressed, but this time I got it with american cheese and it changed everything. It was packed and not alot of seating can be tight, but if your the pocono area I think they have the best cheese steak.“

“We stayed here for a weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were not disappointed. The place is historic and old as dirt. But they've done a wonderful job preserving this great venue. Hardly a bad seat in the house. For the 2 nights we were here, the music was top notch. The food is remarkably yummy, the service is great and the people and vibe is fantastic. Our room was cozy and the bathroom updated. The surrounding area makes for a nice place to wander. If you're a big jazz fan or clueless, this is simply an enjoyable experience.“

The subs are a go to over wegmans and wawa all day for travel ball weekends. The last few times I got the cheeseburger sub and it is really good. This time I wanted a steak sub they handed me a 5lb trunk of steak love I actually felt bad for not tipping. Under 13 bucks and you not finish that and be hungry spring for the extra cheese it is 100% worth it. I would love to see them do a chop cheese or the chop sub thing that is viral. “I've been going to 5 points since the 70s. Always had great bar food. This past Saturday, they had a Specials menu. On it was Lamb shank with Rossoto. I ordered it. The shank was awesome. The Rossoto was even better. Texture and taste were out of this world. Vincent is the chef, and I asked to see him. I told him I knew he was a good chef when my wife got her house salad. It was the perfect size and had 7 different ingredients in it. I hope they hold on to Vincent. He is committed to quality and great food.“

“Such a great space that looks like a Dove bar from the outside. Very cool atmosphere and feel of the place. Lots of fun things to look at and there was music playing on the TV that synced up with the stereo system. The menu is large but not many vegetarian or vegan items. “I dinned in last night, about an hour and a half before closing. The only reason I rated 4 stars was because the food was made perfectly so shout out to whoever the cook was last night! The service on the other hand was by far one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. Both me and my boyfriend are very experienced in the restaurant industry so to have a waitress that could not care less about the customers she was serving was sad and slightly annoying to see. The only thing she did was ask us for our drinks otherwise we had to ask for bread we had to ask to put in our appetizers & meals it’s not like we weren’t visually ready to order considering our means were stacked at the end of the table by the time she brought our drinks to us, I felt like I was doing her job more than she was, she did not once pick up a single empty dish so by the time we got our food we barley had anywhere to put it, then by the time we were ready to leave I physically had to get up and start looking for our waitresses bc we were sitting there simply waiting for a check for approximately 20 mins with our waitress no where to be seen. Im not sure who the young blond chick was serving your back dining area last night but as a cooperation I would genuinely reconsider the position she holds in your restaurant.“
“Great local, dog friendly dive bar with outdoor seating and a view. We arrived after hiking with our dog and they had just opened. Our server was very sweet and kind, and checked on us throughout our stay at appropriate times. The food was solid and what you'd expect from a divey local bar like this and we were very pleased. Decent beer options, their menu was a little out of date as they didn't have the mango cart but not a big deal at all. I wouldn't hesitate to return my next time in the area! Also they have great daily specials. The day we went they had $5 dozen oysters!“

“This is a nice restaurant, My wife called ahead for seating, and we were seated fast. It didn't seem like a busy night for them, but they did have 1 or 2 other tables also sat. Our waitress was nice and knowledgeable about the food availability. My food as pictured was very good. My wine was good. My wife was very happy with the crab cakes. We got the sweetish meatballs also which was really good. We dipped the bread in the meatball sauce .. ohhh yummy.They did bring the check fast lol, kinda seemed a little rushed. I like when servers let you relax a bit after a meal , especially when the place isn't busy , to enjoy the ambiance.They also did have live music too which was nice.It was an enjoyable visit, and nice to get good food in this area of PA where good food seems far n few. We decided to go with the pulled pork chips and they were nothing short than amazing.I am from Texas and I have had some great pulled pork before and the pulled pork on these chips were on par with what I have had in the past. ?My lady had read that they were better known for their artisan pizza however we just weren't that hungry. We will definitely be coming back and we will be sampling their pizzas next time around.“
