Little disappointing in our recent visit. We have been to Dukes many times and always happy every time we went. This time not so much, got shown our table, waited about 10 minutes before seeing our waitress, time to get drinks was excessively long, dinner did arrive fairly quick but my Au Jus had a silverware wrapper in it. Requested a second rounds of drinks when dinner was delivered, but everyone had nearly finished dinner before drinks were delivered.

Typical bar food but on the waterfront. Good menu and nice vibe. Would go again. I had loaded fried and apple pie in a mug. The apple pie in a mug was really good.

We have been coming here for years to sit on the deck and enjoy wine and food. This visit was a bad. Had a server who was not trained and knew nothing about wine or food. They did not have the wine we wanted and my chicken sandwich was as dry as sandpaper. My husband ask the manager if we would be having the wine for our next visit with friends "if I have time to get it" were his words. Most restaurant have their liquor, etc. delivered. They have developed in our opinion a really bad attitude with bad food. Later in the week visited Dockside Willies same owner, but manager, server and food.

My friend and I stopped in for a late lunch after a job we were diog in the area. It was a good choice for lunch and he mentioned that we should come back with our wives for dinner. We had a very nice view of the river and their outdoor dining area. The dining room was very clean and so was the men's room. Our service was very good. Our food came out quickly and looked enticing. I wasn't sure how my buddy was going to eat his piled high Jalapeño burger! I had the French onion steak skittet. The steak was not the quality that I expected from Duke's but was just okay. The rest of the dish was really good. Personally I think that same dish made with a Philly cheese steak meat would be just as impressive. I may try to duplicate it at hame using shaved steak.Overall we had a great experience and hope to return soon. You should try this place out. I think you'll enjoy it.

The food was decent. The atmosphere is nice. The service needs serious attention. Our beer glasses went dry and sat empty too long. Food took a while. Women’s restroom needed attention…one stall had urine all over the floor, and one stall had toilet paper all over the floor.

The crab pretzel had very little crab in it and in my opinion is not a good value. The meal did taste good and the service was excellent. Very nice very nice views. I want to give a better review but the crab pretzel was a huge disappointment

The whole experience was a bummer. The hostess apologized for not having any booths available. We didn't ask for one. The server(parker) kept apologizing for the lack of service because he works at the restaurant up the street? The service steps should be the same regardless of where you work. We waited a long time for our drinks that came out in a fluted glass. I like my Rock's drink in a rocks glass. Salad came with dinner not before. I should have taken a pic of my chicken Chesapeake. The chicken was scorched. Most like pre-cooked and grilled to make it hot. Supposed to be served on a bed of rice, it had a few grains. Smothered in a sauce and the presentation was sloppy. It was a bummer of a meal. It's usually a good experience there.Kid-friendliness: No problems with kids dining there. They had a kid menuWheelchair accessibility: No issues

Awful food! I had just gotten in town from being in North Carolina for the holiday weekend and ordered food to take home. I live with a two minute drive give or take but no more than five. I got the food home. My fiancé ate his fish. I tasted a bite. It was OK the fish and chips. I open up my French onion soup and it's a thick as brown gravy. It looks like brown gravy, even underneath the cheese and the croutons or whatever was on top it was thick underneath I took one bite and was disgusted, I called the store up and I was very nice in the beginning explaining to them I was going to bring the soup back. It was not good wasn't even expecting a refund, but they could've offered to at least remake the soup or offer me something else that was not the case the gentleman that answered the phone proceeds to say once you take the food out of the store we cannot do anything about it. Well, that's very interesting because if we take out food from your restaurant, it should be the same quality as if we sit down in your restaurant, are we supposed to taste the food before we leave and take it out of the restaurant?? I then wrote an email on their website to their office and I've heard nothing in this was now Monday and today is Thursday. No apologies nothing their attitudes are sorry down there. Their management evidently has not been trained or has any type of professionalism , but their food downright sucks. I told the man I was not even calling to be ugly or rude, but I would not have even fed the soup to my dogs. My dogs probably wouldn't even eaten it.
