My go-to spot for Mexican or diner food. The food is always great, and the portions are fantastic for the prices. The waitresses are very sweet and work so hard.

I used to love this place, but lately I notice they nickel and dime people. I ordered a chile rellenos plate and asked for jalapeños and tortilla. $2.49 for a few jalapeños and $2.99 for a few tortillas. Are you kidding me? I’ve never been to a Mexican food restaurant that charges for these, especially given that the plate I ordered is most often eaten with tortillas. The $16 dollar plate came with one chile relleno, rice and beans. Try Tres Hermanos or El Verdadero Sabor de Mexico in Harrisburg instead.

This place rocks it. Our golf group got rained out, so we went here for breakfast. The Bloody Mary's were a meal in itself. Service was great, and the food was spot on.

I stopped going to places like dennys, ihop, and other diners like squeaky rail because the service here is amazing. I never feel judged, talked down to or embarrassed. The food here is great. I usually only ever get breakfast at diners but they dropped the lunch menu and I saw some awesome menu items. Chille rellenos and enchiladas. Love Mexican food and they do it right here. ❤️

In the morning I quit my job. I stopped at Yankee Doodle. I had never been there before. I was pleasantly surprised that they serve alcohol! I celebrated quitting my job by having a breakfast Bloody Mary. Delicious!

$3 "natty daddys" with the boys at the Yankee doodle diner is the move after workin outside in the cold all day. Definitely more of an older person's kind of atmosphere but it's a sleeper Mexican restaurant I think. They serve alcohol and all day breakfast, some Mexican food too and they're welcome to bigger party's of people too. Definitely check them out if McDonald's has become to expensive and to low quality for you, this place is cheaper and the food is so much better than alot of other places aroundWheelchair accessibility: There's no curb up to the door, it's just flat and it's all one level inside

I hardly ever give 1 star, but is based on the food, because that is what I am there for. Service was excellent, nice decor, plenty of types of seating, close to a hotel, and good parking. There is outdoor seating overlooking the river. Food? Im sorry, but I ordered the Dutch Chicken Pot Pie, it looked unattractive, had a green hue, contained tons of rubbery dough pieces all through it. The carrots, celery, chicken were good. The pickled beets were decent. The side of stewed tomatoes had very little tomato, but instead, contained red bell peppers and onions in a red sauce. Burger was normal but shoe string french fries were dry and under salted. Our waiter comped the chicken pot pie, but honestly, I do not think I will visit here again. 02/05/2024 1pm
