There is nothing better than food trucks and Captain Crab is top of the line great food and friendly. My son loves the freshly steamed Crabs and I love the fish sandwich and fresh fresh fries. He is parked during the Crab season in Hellam at Porkey's Place just down from Shoe House rd. Unless he's at an event such as a carnival or fair. I highly reccomend his food.

Ordered online and got to the location. No one was there, called the number, and it says to leave a message. Spent almost $40 on food that I never got from this place.Review update: refund went through, and I am updating the review since the issue was resolved. I'm still bummed that they ran out of crab and had to close early, but at least I got my money back.

The issue that I had was that they closed early and the online ordering didn't shut off. I ordered online not knowing they were closed. I left a message or two(out of just impatience and my suspicious self) the next afternoon he called with an apology and promised to refund my money the following day, instead no more than an hour later I received a message that the refund had been processed and he followed up with a phone call a few minutes later. I adjusted the review to give him more stars. No small business that makes a correction so quickly deserves a bad review.To the people that are trying to compare seafood right out of the ocean to seafood sold in PA don't, it's no comparison just by commonsense so stop.I don't get to York much but now I need to get there to try the food.

Friendly service and convenient location with available parking lot and a small garden near the picnic tables. I'm from MD so I'm a bit of a crab cake snob - I would give this one a 3.75. Nice amount of crab with some lumps. Very little filler. I prefer broiled rather than fried - not sure if that's an option and I should have asked. I wasn't fond of the coating. But it was a decent crab cake sandwich for the price. I want to return to try the steamed crabs!
