If you are going here for the chicken don’t bother. They don’t have any! Was confused when I pulled up to Whole Foods. It’s inside the Whole Foods. Donuts and coffee only. Donuts were good and fresh but if you are going to advertise chicken you should have it. Apparently first Friday of every month they have a food truck that brings chicken. Unfortunately I work on that day. No chicken for you!!!

They dont make them fresh at this location so they're not as good as other locations. The fancy donuts with toppings or coatings are just way too sweet. Just had the chocolate coated and the chocolate used was cheap in that it just tasted like sugar. Disappointing for $3. Only the plain original wont give you diabetes on the spot.

We LOVE to visit federal donuts inside the whole foods. My kids come to visit Sarah the barista every week :) she is the BEST !!!

The donuts taste good but they try to rip you off through the Too Good to Go App. Paid $5.29 and got 6 leftover donuts. Problem is, the regular menu price is half dozen for $6 so it's nowhere near the $15 value they advertised, even if they threw in 1-2 specialty ones. Also, unlike other vendors who make bags from leftovers and post on the app, they post extra on the app and will cancel your order if there's none left. It took us 3 attempts to try them out and then we realized it's poor value and it would be much better to just order from the menu. Don't do false advertising please!

I had to hit Federal Donuts. Pictured is their Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Donut (in my mind, it's the healthy option). The Apple Cinnamon donut is a spiced cake donut, a sugar oatmeal glaze, apple cinnamon drizzle, and toasted oatmeal crumble. The icing perfectly paired with the oatmeal. A great breakfast donut!

Federal donuts are the best donuts around. This particular location doesn't have the hot donuts, but 3 glazed options instead which were delicious. The "fancy donuts" are fresh and delicious. I have not tried the coffee, and this location doesn't have the fried chicken, but the donuts are no doubt 5-star donuts. So good!!

These are some of the best doughnuts anywhere. Even if this spot is in the middle of a Whole Foods up the escalator, it’s as good as the others, though note it’s just for doughnuts and coffee, not hot food.

Sneaky tip adding -- up to 40% tip? While the food is great, I find it sneaky that as of 2022, a 10% "service charge", i.e. tip, is added (which they quickly zoom through in the checkout screen and have a small tucked away sign which says they add this now), THEN ask for another 10-30% tip. I tip well, but my take-out tip from Fed Donuts doesn't need to add up to 40%!

Best donuts in Philly! This satellite location has super friendly staff and the donuts are definitely worth the hour + ride! Chicken is scrumptious, too! Yummy ? ?

Like many people in the Philly region, I live nearby a Federal Donuts, so I stopped by recently to sample two of their specialty cake flavors - sticky toffee banana and Philly cream. The Sticky Toffee Banana consisted of a banana cake donut with butterscotch glaze topped with crushed heath bar. I'm a fan of heath bars so it should come as no surprise that I was also a fan of this flavor. As for the Philly cream, that consisted of spiced cake donut with a dark chocolate glaze and a vanilla cream cheese filling. It was moist and the flavors were decent. Including the cream. Listen, neither one of these donuts are going to astonish you, but they are definitely above average and easy to find. Bottom line: a solid assortment of rotating speciality cake donuts available at many convenient locations. Recommend.

these donuts are like little dense personal cakes. I had one after I lost my job, my dog died, I was declared brain dead after an auto accident and my house was smashed by a meteor. Still I was as happy as a pig in s*** after this tasty sugary treat!
