We were greeted and seated immediately. Our table had crab cakes, grilled chicken, fried chicken and a seafood platter. The crab cakes were delicious and I believe better than some of our higher end restaurants.On another visit we had the lobster special and liver platter. The lobster is steamed perfectly and delicious. The liver was covered in onions and bacon along with a brown gravy.Great comfort food at any time of day.

I couldn't believe how delicious everything I ordered tonight at the Avenue diner was! I ordered a cup of the chicken pastina soup, a chicken salad club sandwich and fries with a combo iced tea/lemonade. Everything was perfect and so tasty. My waitress was very on-the-ball and friendly. I can't complain about anything! Check this place out.
