I've been talking about checking this place out for weeks and decided to finally just get over there tonight for dinner.So happy I did because every single thing I tried was absolutely fantastic. I even had a blue cheese sauce that I liked and that's maybe the only cheese in the world that I am not a fan of. The brussel sprout side was cooked perfectly and the sauce is amazing!!! This is the first time I had vegan mac and cheese and I'm a fan. The portobello mushrooms were grilled to perfection as well. The cocktail was a great starter to the meal and the peach empanadas were the perfect ending. I ate the rest of that bourbon caramel sauce with a spoon!!!Do yourself a favor and visit this place soon!Chef Connor is fantastic!!!

I love to check out any vegetarian/vegan restaurants I find as, usually, the fare is typically delicious! This one was no exception! The food is off the hook!! Delicious! Give it a try!

I am always on the hunt for yummy vegetarian/vegan restaurants, and I am so happy to have found this place and tried it!! I, a vegetarian, went with my meat loving boyfriend and we were both satisfied on all levels with our experience at Deep Roots. The whole staff provided an atmosphere of warmth and positivity and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu both for drinks and food. After hearing the drink specials, my boyfriend and I both got the special with gin and house-made lavender syrup (wish I could remember what it was called or the other ingredients) but as someone who finds most mixed drinks to be either too sweet, too syrupy or not mixed well, I was floored by these yummy cocktails. They were honestly perfect and refreshing and I probably won't stop talking about them until next time I go. As for the food - timely, hot, deeply flavorful, and interesting. My boyfriend got the ramen and I got the penne piccata. We were both full without being stuffed and beyond satisfied. Highly recommended for vegetarians and meat eaters alike.

My son and I FEASTED tonight! The burger is absolutely delicious… we loved the tots too. I hope this place becomes a mainstay and I’m excited to see what dishes the chef may add.

First time visit and highly recommend! The craft cocktails are fabulous and the food was fantastic! We ordered the Kung Pau Brussel Sprouts as an appetizer-it was a huge plate full of deliciousness! Our entrees were delicious and plentiful! The atmosphere is very relaxing-we could have stayed all night!!

I was excited to find a different vegan restaurant option. Cute space, pleasant decor, ok music, simple but promising menu. Good coffee but underwhelming food. Was hoping for something better from the conception to the execution of the dishes. 3 stars for the above mentioned plusses.

Just had a great time with a party of 6 - the waiter was only on their second shift ever here and they did amazing! The food was delicious and portions were big enough for sharing. The brussel sprouts were especially delicious!!!

Went last night with my wife. The brussels and burger were absolutely fantastic. My wife's pasta was also a hit. So many things on the menu looked good--we will definitely be back. This is a model of what a vegetarian restaurant should be.
My husband and I live around the corner from Deep Roots and decided to stop in for dinner. We already love Pretty Bird which is the coffee shop in the same location during the day. We could not have been happier with our dinner! For an appetizer we shared the brussel sprouts which were so flavorful. I had the penne with vodka sauce for dinner (delicious!) and my husband devoured the mushroom burger and fries. For dessert we shared the crepes which were a perfect way to end the meal. Our waitress was lovely and very informative. We highly recommend Deep Roots and will visit regularly!

I have an allergy to dairy and an egg/nut intolerance. So when I saw this was opening I HAD to try it. I hate truffle fries, baked vegan mac, and to go loaded tots. The fries were super delicious, crispy, and seasoned! The mac and cheese was good. The loaded tots were THE BEST thing I got. In my life even. 1000% recommend this place!

This place is excellent! As someone with a tough diet to please, Courtney in the kitchen was absolutely wonderful helping me find substitutions to have a great meal. Nick behind the bar makes a great bevvy, but his banter's even better. A great atmosphere, and an incredible crew!
