I have stopped at Penn Market a few times just to get Caraballo Sister’s delicious Puerto Rican food! Along with the food, the customer service is always on point and you can tell there is serious love and pride that goes in to every dish. Most recently, I had the oxtail bowl and let me just tell you…I could eat that every. single. day.

I have been to Caraballo Sisters at Penn Market multiple times, always great food! The young lady is always so very nice and patient, telling me what the different dishes are! I have tried the oxtails entree as well as the oxtail bowls both of which are amazing! The sides also rock: mac n cheese, beans & potatoes, cabbage & sausage, Spanish rice, you can’t go wrong with any of their sides! She also has empanadas, pastelon, stewed chicken, pepper steak, all homemade and delicious! I highly recommend Caraballo Sisters, go check them out! Thank you very much and I’ll be back soon!

Incredibly flavorful and fresh - highly recommend the stew chicken and pepper steak with Spanish rice. Ask for extra sauce on your rice for extra flavor. Jbree juice is also super refreshing and a must-try!!
