Came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. The booths are surprisingly small and the owners stand at the register and yammer back at forth at each other but the food was good and ready in a flash. The omelet seemed unusually small- 2 eggs vs 3?- but it was good. The homefries were great and the French ghosts were great. Service was super friendly and fast.

We love visiting new (to us) places, so this weekend it was Colonial Coffee. We had breakfast there on Sunday morning around 9:30am. We had a small wait, which was no issue at all. I had the sausage gravy and biscuits, while my husband had the Belgian waffle. Both meals were delicious! My home fries were cold, but they were still decent. Our waitress was very polite but made us feel rushed. We would have loved a second cup of coffee after our meal, as we normally do, but the table next to us was asked to wrap it up and leave because they sat there too long. We were quite flabbergasted. The woman who asked them to leave appeared to be the owner. It’s hard for me to wrap my head around this. I don’t know how long they were there, but I do know from the time we sat down, we felt rushed. I don’t like feeling like a number at a business, and that’s exactly how we felt. I want to sit down with my husband and relax, while enjoying a meal. This experience was a first for us, and it will also be a last.

Really mixed service here. I recommend avoiding Fridays as the service is not well coordinated. Service is fast and friendly other weekdays for take out and dine in. The cold brew is very good.

So after many years of the same problem, its time to do a review about it. I get here a few times per year for breakfast, always have the same problem. Order the potatoes crispy well done and get mushy potatoes. Today same thing except I sent them back. Seriously, not a part of them well done. They come back again 1 minute later the same way. The first time is the cooks mistake. The second time it's the SERVER.

Such a sweet little place. The atmosphere is relaxed yet busy. The food is fantastic, and the portions are just right. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and the food came out in a timely manner. Kind management and lovely surrounding shops. Come here if you're looking for a good meal and/or a nice place to pass time.Parking: There is some parking in front, and lots on the side. I've never seen it completely full, but I promise that has nothing to do with the quality of the food or stores.

Our go too place. There's never a bad meal. Everything is delicious! ( try the creamed chip beef!! Yum) This service is outstanding!! The women are great and the owner at the front always with a smile. It can get crowed on the week end morning. So be prepared to wait no more then 20/30 mins. But OH worth the wait

This is a classic 'greasy spoon' diner. It's part of a little strip mall with maybe a dozen booth/table combos best suited for parties of 4. They do have some high chairs and individual kitchen chairs available to add to the end for a 5th person, although it can get a bit tight. I believe they also have a barstool seating option near where they prepare the food and you can see the mountain of bacon piled high out of a tray ready for frying. Our waitress was fantastic, seeming like she's probably done the gig for decades as she consistently and promptly took care of her tables while also interacting in a very comfortable manner.Their menu has a nice array of items at very reasonable prices under $10, including sandwiches, eggs, omelets, hot cakes, waffles, french toast along with sides of meat, home fries, and toast on most orders. I went with the special of the morning, which was biscuits and sausage gravy. The gravy was good, but I honestly found the biscuits to be lacking in both flavor as well as quantity. If it had matched the other dishes I saw around the room, I probably would have given this place a 5 star rating. Regardless, I wish we had a place like this near our own home as we would be regular customers.

This was my first time visiting. Our server was such a peach even though she was busy as all get out. She checked on us frequently, I wish I could remember her name. But we'll definitely dine in again soon!

Stopped in for a quick coffee, but breakfast was being served so I opted for a quick bite instead. Seating was immediate, immaculately clean, friendly, and breakfast was delicious! Highly recommended!
