My husband and I were in town visiting from North Carolina. We came out to Gift Horse Brewing Company. I really enjoyed the relaxed, laid-back feeling of the outdoor bar area. All the bartenders were all really great, I enjoyed the conversations I had with them. My husband loved both the beers he tried. Great place!

We bought gift cards to use here when they had a Black Friday deal right before COVID shut everything down. Went in to use the gift card finally and was told they have a new card reading system and haven't set it up for gift cards yet! How convenient. Gotta love a place that sells you a worthless piece of plastic. We were told to tell the one bartender the next time we came in and he'd give us a free drink. Okay - so we have to hunt down this specific bartender and hope he remembers us so we can get a free drink? I highly doubt he will remember us and this situation and give us a free drink. Besides I don't want a free drink - I want you to accept the gift card we bought! They didn't tell us when they'd fix their system, they did not seem concerned. Nothing else offered even though we basically gave Gift Horse a donation because we bought a worthless piece of plastic that they won't accept.
