Isaac’s used to be a really fun place to go and eat but we went there about 2 weeks ago and the food was very mediocre and was very expensive. They used to serve you a good handful of chips with your sandwiches but now it’s a little bag half full of air, the service was also pretty slow for being there mid day non rush time.

Overpriced for sandwiches and chips. The atmosphere still feels like old Isaac's before they sold beer.

They have great food and dedicated workers. Plenty of parking. The takeout area can get crowded and service can be slow. For the most part I feel the prices are fair but sometimes they can be cheap with the portion of fries you get when ordering takeout. (Note: It wasn't an upgrade from chips.). I have an example of the fries in a photo. The container is small, You can see the bottom of the container under the fries, and multiple fries were ripped. For the price, it was a "rip-off".

The foods was delicious. Loads of options for vegetarians, which is rare. Service was a bit slow, but everything was top-notch. Definitely try the signature soup!

SERVICE ANIMAL HANDLERS/OWNERS BEWARE.I am disappointed to give this low of a rating. While I love their food and have been an avid customer for almost 20 years (I provided appropriate rating for food in the review details), I am disappointed in the customer service, hurt by the lack of acceptance, and appalled at the discrimination presented in store today.I am visiting from out of state and wanted to finish my trip home with my favorite soup and sandwich with my family. I arrived at Issac's with my service animal and was immediately looked at with side glances and whispers by the staff about my having a dog. A small, well-behaved, trained dog. The staff person who greeted me did so with an attitude and asked "how can I help you?" I asked to sit outside "with my service animal." I was denied such a request and the staff member requested papers. I questioned what papers were required. She could not answer and said "let me go check for you." After a few moments, another employee came to me and said, "I am sorry but we cannot allow animals of any kind." I replied that my "animal" is a "service dog." She requested certified papers. I questioned from what authority as there is no national registry or required license for a trained service dog. The employee said "usually there are certified papers or identification." I stated, "I don't have her vest on today, but that does not negate the fact that she is a service dog." The employee again said "no animals."Would they deny a blind person service who had a guide dog? Would they deny a veteran with a service dog?I was not even offered to be served take out. I was flat out denied service.I am disgusted by the actions of West York employees. After almost 20 years of patronage, I am disappointed to have to say goodbye to pepper jack tomato soup and the Pterodactyl.

The penguin club was excellent with generous turkey, ham, and bacon on white bread with a high quality lettuce side salad as an extra charge option. I actually went back again later in the week to order this meal at the counter because my husband wanted to try it and it was about a 15 minute wait. The atmosphere was open and airy inside with an outdoor seating area. I did not see anybody in the outdoor seating.

A slider sized sandwich is ~$15. Is this a joke? Iphone for size reference in the pic.

Bekah is the best manager and Olivia is very sweet and offered outstanding service. I would recommend the chicken noodle soup.

My honey and I went to Isaac's tonight on white st.She had a deli sandwich thats was really good. I had the fish and chips. The fish was fried so hard that I only ate 1 piece only after I had told the waitress about it. She comes back and said I wasn't the only one complaining about it that the cook said that that's the way it comes out. She never even tried to offer me a discount or another order. Never go back again!! By the way we are a frequent customers.
