It is a place that feels like a pub where everybody knows your name. Of course I am a mug club member. I really like their beer. The food is pub fair, I think some of the best burgers in York. The hot dogs are definitely the best, even though they took off the German dog... Great people and staff, and if you are there at the right time you get to join in on a sing along of Billy Joel's Piano Man.
During a quick trip to York, my friends and I ran in for a bite to eat around 1:30pm on a Sunday. The staff was incredible. We told them we only had 45 minutes and they delivered! They were efficient and brought out of food nice and hot. Because we were in a rush, they brought out checks out and said to take as much time as we need, but wanted to make sure we could pay when we wanted.
