Came in as a walk in for a large group and they were more than willing to do what they could to seat us in a reasonable amount of time. Gladly, our group shrank significantly, and they still did all they could to make our late dinner very pleasant.

Sadly I did not know our waitresses name. However her service was 10/10. Came in with my mom and sisters and baby nephew for lunch; my mom recently underwent major surgery for an illness that almost took her life and we’ve decided to always make time for lunch dates with one another, my mom has lots of anxiety being around large groups of people for fear of judgement on her appearance. Our waitress went above and beyond to care for us and treated my mom like she was a person and seen her for who she is or atleast made her feel that way. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
The food is excellent, I usually go very frequently with the whole family, but last night was not a good experience. Although we always call before arriving to have a table available, they placed us in a table for 4 people, and there were 5 of us, we were uncomfortable and there were free tables, we asked for it and they told us they were not ready. The person who served us never brought my daughter's sangria even though we ordered it twice, we ended up canceling, the bread was brought after the meal, because we asked for it again, as well as the cheese for the soup, which got cold waiting to bring it, the plates didn't fit on the table and we had to keep removing them all the time, plus the girl almost threw them on the table, she never asked what dip we wanted with the donuts for dessert, she brought it chocolate and when my son He ordered it with strawberry, he brought it and almost threw it on him, in the end when we spoke with the manager he tried at all times to justify the bad service, and he gave us a card for 50 dollars, which was never our goal, we visited the place almost every week, and this was an unfortunate experience that destroyed our night. We decided to take some time before going again

Olive Garden has been around for as long as I can remember and there is a reason why, the food is just that good! They do not have a delivery service, which I think is pretty unique/odd given this day and age, but I kind of like that. Yes you can pick up your food yourself to go, but if you are going to drive all the way there, you might as well go inside and stay too! It’s nice in there!I love their unlimited soup and salad options, getting the infamous Olive Garden salad is a MUST. Paired along with their awesome breadsticks and a fine glass of wine, if you love Italian food, this is a decent, local place to get it. It really is an acquired taste, one you’re sure to develop after you’ve eaten here just once. The first time I’ve ever tried Carbonara was here, and I fell in love with it immediately! It can be scary to try something new but you never know until you try right? Everything on their menu will be great so try it all! This is also the only Olive Garden in York. There is not one on the East side as well, but that’s ok. No need to worry about if one I better than the other. This place is very clean. The staff is very welcoming, and the overall atmosphere is great. There is also plenty of parking.Dietary restrictions: They gave menu items marked that are lighter/healthier/vegan options.Kid-friendliness: Lots of options for the kiddos to choose fromWheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp in front of the door.

My family and I opted for convenience and dined at Olive Garden due to unforeseen issues with another nearby restaurants POS system. What I thought would be a decent meal was unfortunately an excessively salty one which put a damper on our dining experience. From the artichoke dip appetizer to our main courses, the overpowering saltiness affected the palatability of the crispy chicken in my entree and just about everything else other than dessert. Water never tasted so good. On a positive note, the desserts, featuring tiramisu and strawberry-garnished cheesecake were superb. The salad and bread sticks were also pretty good too. Our waiter was also very friendly, helpful and upbeat, elevating my initial rating of 2 stars to 3. Chains aren’t my preferred go-to for a good meal…so all in all I probably wouldn’t return.
