Tried the shrimp & sausage gumbo, my daughter had the creamy tomato soup. Absolutely delicious! Gumbo was$7.50 for a pint. Inside the Market House on Philadelphia St.

One of my favorite places to visit, especially when it's cold out. It's tucked away against the back wall, but definitely worth the stop.

We had some great soup, a gfood grilled cheese and Joy was lovely to talk to. looking forward to eating here or Joy's Cafe in the future.

I love this place. Everything I have eaten here has been amazing.

I saw some of the negative comments left here, however, my experience was the complete opposite. The owner was my server and was absolutely amazing! The soup, white cheddar Mac n cheese with crab, was out of this world! And the grilled cheese with the Texas toast bread complimented it perfectly. Will absolutely come back again!

I know everyone has a bad day...but I don't think that was the case. She looked, talked and acted as if she always has that stank attitude. This lady was rude not only to me who stood there patiently waiting to order some soup but her co-worker and another gentlemen, so much so he said I can come back at a better time. I could not believe how she reacted because the soup I wanted was just what she packed up and stored. Never again. #SoupNazi

If zero stars were an option. Person serving food today coughing in hand without washing them after. Brought it to attention of another worker and she cursed at me in front of a line of customers

Have had decent food here before but now am concerned about food safety. Several times in the past few months have witnessed someone coughing and sneezing into their hands and continuing to prep food. When another staff member was informed they thought it appropriate to curse quite loudly and didn't seem to care. I would think twice before eating here and watch closely to make sure you don't end up with someone's nasty germs in your food.
This establishment is a little gem in York's Central Market. I enjoyed a bowl of their Spicy Crab Soup. Took a quart to-go for dinner the next day. They offer several freshly made soups each day. Perfect remedy for a cold winter day.

Holy cow the omelets are amazing! I had my first on Saturday and have been thinking about it since, so I had to have another today! I had the "Greg's omelet" which has sausage, spinach, jalapenos & pepperjack cheese. I think it's just may be my new favorite breakfast.
