Some of the best tacos ever. Inventive and delish: you must try them. I had a very delishious brusselsprout taco and chicken taco. Both were flavor bombs. They aren't traditional or common in our area. They stand out! Thank you for bringing big flavors to York.

Great rotating concepts! A great find in downtown York and fun to see chefs creating new menu items. They serve beer and cocktails and have a cantina as well out back for when the weather is nice!

Taste test is a revolving door of food options. It's an opportunity to try something new every month or two right here in York. Two different food options under one roof. Fun concept that I've really enjoyed!

Great local spot. Bartender johnny is awesome. Food is great. Laid back causal and trendy. Outside patio is great with a cantina bar also

We went on a Sunday and they were out of chicken and pork. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time, the sliders did not seem freshly cooked and the rolls were stale, the French fries also did not taste freshly made. The seasonal lemonade and the blackberry ice tea were way too sweet. I liked the concept of the sliders and the flavor combinations but the burger itself was overcooked, we may give this place another try but definitely not on a Sunday

Picked up take-out for the office. We were able to order off the online menu for Paco's Tacos. We all tried different foods. They were all very good. Authentic and fresh. Healthy portions. Best Flan ever. Definitely worth a try.

Overpaid for two deep fried fish tacos. Fake crabmeat was the "market priced" filler. Dissapointed.

Paco's Tacos are gourmet!' Fabulous. Good luck' Salad barata and beans and rice on the appetizers are amazing. Fish tacos excellent. Now they are next to the Cantina and easily can get your beer and margarita.

For months, I had been hearing about the new Taste Test Kitchen in downtown York. This is a new concept for the area: there are 2 test kitchens available where prospective chefs try out running a restaurant for a few months. We ate at Paco's Tacos, which just ended as the test restaurant. This place was phenomenal! We met up with friends for a Sunday brunch, and we were floored by how great this place was. First, the restaurant, though very small, was clean and bright. It was decorated sparsely but was not unattractive. There were several long family-style tables available for seating, but the inside seemed cramped, so we opted to eat in the outdoor cantina. This cantina was a hidden gem. There were a couple of picnic tables there where we ate, but it seems like this is more geared toward the bar. Thankfully, when we went, it was not busy and the bar was not yet open, so we were able to sit out there, and the kids could explore the courtyard without bothering other guests. The food was absolutely outstanding! We really hope that Paco's Tacos opens a full restaurant because we would quickly add it to our list of favorites. My daughter got the conchas french toast, which was a sugar-coated french toast. She is a picky eater, but she ate every bite of it. And it was delicious french toast! My husband got street tacos which he enjoyed. My son had a chorizo burrito, and it was literally one of the best burritos I've ever tasted. He, too, is very picky, but he ate a huge portion of it. It was fresh and delicious. And I got the carnitas omelette with a spinach salad. The omelette used the same carnitas as the street tacos, and it was well-seasoned. The only down side to my dish was the spinach salad. It was literally just a handful of spinach on the plate with a less-than-memorable dressing. But everything other than the spinach salad was truly outstanding food. Our friends ordered some of the same menu items we did (mostly because the menu only had about 8 or 9 choices), but they, too were impressed. The only other downside was the limited number of drink offerings. You could order bottled water, coffee, or jarritos (a Mexican soda). We got a couple of waters and some jarritos, and that was all fine, but I do wish they would've been able to offer a few more beverage options. The outdoor bar opened at about 2pm, and we were still there for that. Our friends got the margarita, and my husband got a can of beer. Both were good, and the bartender was friendly. So they were happy! Unfortunately for us, the day we went was the final day Paco's Tacos was operating out of that space. But now that we have found this gem, we are excited to go back to Taste Test and continue to try out the new restaurants that will occupy the space every few months.
