This place is super adorable!! I came with a small appetite, so I ordered the French Onion Soup. The broth was delicious. However, there were so many croutons in the soup that it was hard to really enjoy it. The cheese on top, while delicious, was so thick that it was hard to eat/incorporate with the soup. I realize that may be some folks' cup of tea. I like a simpler, myself. The calamari was delicious, and my husband LOVED his fish and chips. The table was very sticky, but other than that, the place was darling.Parking: There are few spaces right next to the restaurant. There's a large overflow parking area behind the building that offers a nice walk over a stream.

My husband and I like stopping at The First Post for drinks or sometimes an afternoon lunch. The atmosphere is nice and the food is great! We also love that they have multiple beers on tap to sample. We were sad to find out that they have done away with beer flights. Hopefully they reconsider this decision. Flights is one of our favorite ways to sample the various beers. Luckily, our bartender Brandon was nice enough to re-create a flight for us, even though they technically do not serve them anymore. Great service!

The food quality is like no other. You can tell the best and freshest ingredients are used. For me, when I go out to eat it has to be better than what I can make at home because I'm a pretty good cook. I could never make food that good at home!
I've visited First Post several times now as well as done carry-out orders for office lunches and they never cease to offer quality food and service. Great place with reasonable prices and amazing staff. Highly recommend!
