My partner got the best Bolognese he says he's ever had, and my Pumpkin fettuccine(sans sage) was extraordinary. Our server recommended a great wine and we finished with panna cotta for dessert. Really a stellar experience and I Highly recommend.

My spouse and I were craving some fresh pasta and have been dying to try Tutoni’s since we moved here recently. The environment for a rainy Tuesday was slow and quite chill. Services was great and drinks were strong. I tried a Chandler Bing and it was very beautiful and tasty. For dinner we had the bolognese and chicken gemelli. The portions were huge and left me with plenty to take home. Very excited to live within walking distance of this lovely place.

We celebrated my wife's birthday by finally getting out to Tutoni's. The food, the drinks, the wine list, the service, the ambiance; all spectacular. We had the "Jalapeno Business," which was a perfectly balanced Mezcal cocktail, along with a few selections from their fantastic wine selection. We also had the Venison Carpaccio, Bolognese and the Elk w/local mushrooms. Fantastic. All of it. Our server, Teisha was was observant, and conscientious, as was her trainee. We will definitely be back!

Watch your credit card transactions. My dad visited there for a work event and there was a massive discrepancy on the amount that was submitted to the restaurant vs. what showed up on the bank.

Went on 3/1/24:The food, timing, and ambiance was all perfect. Orders of apps, sides, and entrees all came out and were timed to be ready a little minutes after we finished one. We got the pork belly to start, which at first I was taken back by the only three small pieces of it, but it was absolutely delicious and worth it. Then we had the charcuterie board, which they let us choose everything that came on it, and when gouda cheese was moldy due to being aged (it was not clear in its name), they took the board back, gave us a new cheese, and a side of chorizo to make up for the mistake. All delicious, especially the side of pear jam.For entrees, my girlfriend got the duck confit/foie gras raviolis, which they adjusted for her mold allergy (normally it has gorgonzola in there somewhere), and her dish was phenomenal, she ate it all and loved every bite. I had the pork shank, which came with TWO pork shanks, over a celery root puree that was fantastic, and the pork was so incredibly tender with every bite. The only thing I may change would be a side of some kind of sauce for it, but that is only because I love sauces with things, especially pork, but it does not take away from the dish. For dessert, they actually gave us two small mini desserts since we were celebrating our anniversary, which was really nice and unexpected. They were the perfect mini size for something sweet after dinner, but not too much. My girlfriend got the cannoli mini dessert, and I got the panna cotta with chocolate on top, both great.Service wise, we had Trey, and we could not of gotten anyone better. He was incredibly available, sweet, caring, on point with attending and helping us, and was so easy going with a nice sense of humor that it just made the night even more perfect. You would never of known it was his first night working there! He carried and acted as if he had been there for years.Overall, the dinner was fantastic, service and food wise. We felt heard and cared about, never pushed in any direction or rushed at all, and would recommend the place to anyone. They also have an upstairs bar and tapas area that seems to be open later than the downstairs dinner area if you are looking for something after dinner, or in general.Dietary restrictions: My girlfriend has a mold allergy, and they were perfect with accommodating it so she could get the dishes she wanted.

Recived a gift card for 6 people to do the chefs special 5 course meal with wine where they serve you but you don't know what u get till it comes. The experience was okay kinda exciting to see what was coming. But the food was not very good .the main entree was pork loin was Luke warm at best & basically all fat. We assumed the gift card would cover the bill since it stated chef choice experience for 6. We did order7 cocktails which we knew would be not included with pricing of gift card. When waitress gave us our receipt said it was for drinks it was 321.00$$. Never told us taxes & tip was added to total our gift card was for $750.00. So our total bill was over 1000.00$. Even if we really loved all the food which most of us did not! I would & could not afford to go back.

The dish I wanted came with a sauce with an ingredient I can't eat, so I asked for no sauce. But Chef said, "No no, I'll make her a sauce without that ingredient. Can't have her eating a dry dish!"So appreciated, kind, and delicious! Above and beyond and I'm a loyal customer forever now. Thank you!

Amazing chef's special! I did not know what to expect here as it was a surprise visit, but I was very delighted by the whole experience. The courses were unique, sensibly structured, and very tasty. Definitely worth coming back when they rotate the menu!

My wife and I visited Tutonis before attending the York Symphony for our 10th Anniversary and the experience was amazing. The atmosphere is perfect for a romantic evening, the food was amazing and the wait staff even gave us a champagne toast and a signed card to mark our anniversary! It was one of the most memorable dinners we’ve had together and I can’t recommend this place enough.

I'm very tough on Italian eateries. New to area and experienced this restaurant recently. I think they try to be something that they would like to be but fall short. They need to work a little harder to get that "Michelin" recognition. My grandpa and grandma Salvatore and Giovina Bellomo would agree with me that their meatball was above average and the Tuscan style bread was excellent. I could have made a meal solely out of the meatball and bread. Everything else we had was just, and I repeat, just okay.Service was great and I would recommend, drink a few glasses of wine before you get there because their fine wine list is most most pricey.

The service is always the best part and never an issue. Wait staff is friendly and never makes you wait. I have been here maybe 10 times in the 5 years I lived in York and I feel everytime I have gone since covid, the food gets worse and the prices goes up. They are easily the most expensive place on George street for drinks. My daughter had 2 Nutella desserts, the first one was great but the 2nd had hard cake and was hard to eat with a spoon. My sweet onion ravioli was somehow hard yet room temp, but the plate was hot. The only other table with 4 ladies sitting at it were cursing all night at 6:45pm (which isnt the restaurants fault). Idk if it's new ownership or what but quality in food has taken a back seat the past couple years. I hope they fix it, because the atmosphere and food here use to be top notch.
