Good place to work but poor management, and work culture. Philip and Andy did nothing to allow me to remain employed at their company.

First, I miss the storefront! Second, I just ordered the fabulous PRIDE box and can not wait to taste the yummy pretzels I have missed! I think it's amazing what you guys are doing and I love that a donation will go to the Rainbow Rose Center! Thanks for being awesome Philip and Andy!!!

Unfortunately not open to general public we were disappointed. They did take care of us by sending samples. We will order online

I ordered online from their site thepretzelcompany.com. I was worried by a shipping delay of several days by UPS to get these to me on the west coast, but Philip let me know that they should still be shelf stable when they arrived and indeed they arrived fine as far as I can tell. The pretzels themselves are lighter in appearance than I expected, and they looked just like the frozen super pretzels from the supermarket. But after heating them as recommended they darken more and are definitely a step above the supermarket pretzels. The flavor and texture reminds me of pretzels at ballparks. They aren't quite as tasty to me as fresh German pretzels from Oktoberfests and German restaurants I've been to, but they'd be a great treat for guests at your next super bowl / event watch party.

Best soft pretzels I've ever had. Pretzels arrived timely in the mail without any issues. Well done York City Pretzel Company.

So I gave in and ordered these online. Let's just say the Facebook ads did their job and drilled into my subconscious because they know I love soft pretzels.I had resisted other brands because the per-pretzel price was just too steep for me but The Pretzel Co. isn't bad even though of course you have to pay for shipping when you order online - again, not terrible, and you can pay more to get them expedited. They took the slow boat to get here - 2 days beyond the promised delivery date - but oh well. I tracked them closely online as they crawled their way halfway across the country but they showed up finally. They are indeed 100% excellent - very soft and large. Tossed them in the toaster oven for the recommended 4 minutes at 350 with the included salt on them and they were amazing. If I had actually paid closer attention to what I was ordering I wouldn't ordered the combo pack specifically with the mustard with horseradish. Just too spicy for me honestly though I'm sure some would love it. Regular mustard would have been fine but thankfully I already had that in the fridge.I've eaten two already and packed the rest up for the freezer as I don't want to eat them ravenously and want to save them for others in the family too of course. Careful when separating them as they tend to stick together and fall apart as you pull them apart.Overall I'd say great value for what you get and they really are delicious, soft, and big. Larger and better tasting than almost anything you can get at a chain soft pretzel place (Auntie Anne's, etc.). There's a local chain called World of Beer that sells an absolutely massive "pub pretzel" which is great but also not quite the same when you just want a personal soft pretzel of your own. Not cheap either. A Pretzel Co pretzel once every couple weeks - praying my self-control holds up! - is a much bigger value. In any case - great job getting these out to me The Pretzel Co and I'll be recommending y'all to everyone I know.

This is a damn fine pretzel. It's been quite a while since I have been to PA, but that state knows pretzels and the Pretzel Company does them up right: Perfect salt, perfect amount of chewiness, just a touch of sweetness. A mall food court pretzel this is NOT! I've never actually been to their location, but they do ship 2nd day air, so even 1/2 way across the country it's easy and delicious. Don't forget the mustard. Cheers!

I live in California and received my order and the pretzels were moldy. I contacted Philip and told him that since I am originally from New York, I order many perishable goods from New York frequently and have never had a problem with any of the orders. He sent me a reply that I felt was quite unprofessional, making excuses why the order was moldy and proceeded to tell me all my other orders were shipped frozen but his pretzels are shipped fresh. I sent him the list of the merchants I order from such items as pizza, ravioli, cheesecake, cheese products, bagels, all from New York and shipped fresh not frozen. He obviously didn't like that. He gave me a refund and I will not look to this company and will never recommend them to anyone for any of their products.

The best soft pretzels I have ever had! During a recent power outage I found in my freezer some York city pretzels that had been vacuum sealed for about a year and they were still absolutely delicious! So excited they now offer shipping through The pretzel company!

Went today to pick up some mustard today and the girl said I couldn't buy any cause she didn't have any cash, I said I can pay for it with my card. She basically said "No" we are only open for online orders. Later tried to order on like and got oops this site is down. Not very happy.

The pretzels are amazing and the three dipping sauces make them even better. Staff is friendly and funny. You have to stop by of you're in York.
