In Charlottetown for a short time. Too short, but enough time for a nice lunch of PEI mussels. Pilot House had good reviews here on Google — and totally lived up to them. Mussels were outstanding, and the bread, vital to sopping up the broth mussels are cooked in, was outstanding as well. Five stars, highly recommend.
I was in port on a cruise ship and went to the Pilot House for lunch. It's a short walk and well worth it. The mussels were out of this world. The chowder could have used a little salt but was also quite good. Friendly service.

I always thought pilot house was a fancier restaurant and it is but the prices are just as good as anywhere else. Why would I go somewhere else and pay the same price for worse service and worse food. I started comparing prices mid meal and was honestly pretty shocked.I'll definitely be coming here more often
